About this piece
-This is a remake of a drawing I did ten years ago
-I initially made this as a representation of the lives of Ven and Roxas, and their stories (in my mind, they are the same person, because it makes so much more sense; arbitrary-plot-of-KH3 be damned)
-There was a lot of planning and meaning behind this piece; from the locations of each character, how they compare to the characters on their 'opposite' side (i.e., Aqua to Axel, Xehanort to Xemnas, etc) to general details (which I can break down if requested)
-The blending of backgrounds is an homage to that style of art done for things like the box art of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which I've always loved
-The title "The Memory Beyond" is one of the cryptic lines from "Another Side, Another Story [Deep Dive]"; such a minor line in the series that always stuck with me
-Done in Photoshop
-This took, by pure coincidence, 358 days to complete
