Rose, my little girl... Run free, wherever you are now. Hopefully one day we will meet again, and if we do, I'm not letting go again.

Ball Python's First Meal (Full Process. Watch at 2X Speed?)
I let Bái Lóng settle in his new home for 2.5 weeks before attempting to feed him, because this is his first ever frozen/thawed rat and I wanted him to be hungry so that he would most likely take it (his breeder had him on a diet of frozen/thawed hopper mice). It worked and he took it after 30 seconds! Even though I had to wiggle it and nudge him with it to entice him. This was my first time feeding a snake so I flinched when he struck 😅
Since this was my first time watching a snake eat in person, I wanted to record the full process. I don't know how to speed up videos in the editing program though, so I would suggest watching this at 2X speed or skipping ahead.
The way he vibrated at the end of his meal with his mouth open, trying to readjust his jaw, really creeped me out. It was fascinating to watch but also very uncanny to me. It didn't help that I bought the wrong-sized rats for him. It was a bit big, so he struggled. He also ate the rat butt first instead of head first which made it harder for himself, the little idiot.

PetSmart Cat Pawing at Cage

I always look at the available animals up for adoption whenever I need to buy pet supplies at PetSmart. This void kitty either wanted food or attention or wanted out. Video taken on September 29, 2024.
Giant Vinegaroon Excavating in His Hide
มุมมอง 123 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I've never seen Píng Guǒ Zhī excavating substrate from the right side of his hide and then immediately depositing it next to him, so I took a video of it, as I always do when my pets do something new and interesting. Video taken on September 28, 2024.
Tiny Water Beetle Going Bonkers [His Last Video]
มุมมอง 82 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
This happened after I fed him a fish pellet. That pellet was apparently like a drug to him, haha. In all seriousness, this was probably just a sign that he was near the end of his life. Sadly, these amazing creatures do not have a long lifespan… On October 6 or 7, I noticed him struggling to swim. He would charge upwards, but then sink back down. Charge again, sink again. I'm guessing that he b...
Stubborn Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula
มุมมอง 12 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I needed to take out Mynah's water dish to clean it, but it made me nervous seeing her sitting outside her hide like that. Usually when I blow air at her, she runs back into her hide so that I can do maintenance in her enclosure without the fear of being tagged, but on this night she was being very stubborn and refused to back away no matter how much I blew at her!! Ball Python Slithers into Humidity Hide
2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Loooong boi. This humidity hide is the Zilla rock lair. This one is the medium size, but I also bought the large size for when he outgrows this one. It's hard to find good-looking reptile hides of a decent size in pet stores. This one was the prettiest one I could find, and I love the mossy, natural look! Video taken on September 16, 2024.
Beautiful Blue-Eyed Leucistic Ball Python
มุมมอง 122 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
After Henrietta passed away, I haven't owned a pet vertebrate since, until now. I was mesmerized just watching my new baby's body rise and fall as he breathed. Unlike my pet invertebrates, it's so easy to tell that he is indeed alive despite him never blinking. Please grow up to be strong and healthy, Bái Bái 🤍 Video taken on September 15, 2024.
I Brought My Ball Python Home!!
2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
It took two weeks for my coco chips substrate and my expensive herpstat to get delivered. When they did, I set everything up, and the very next day I went to pick up my rice noodle from his babysitter's. I was so happy to finally bring him home with me!! Bái Lóng explored his enclosure for an hour before settling into the Zilla rock lair, which is his hide on the cool side. The journey of being...
Hungry Fish

After our ride and hike (th-cam.com/video/-R9Y6jh50rM/w-d-xo.html), we went to a buffet for dinner and there were a lot of pretty fish and koi in a pool in the buffet. They saw my hand and thought "food!!" Video taken on September 7, 2024.
Forest Road Filled with Potholes

A friend of ours was taking me, my brother, and our cousin for a drive up Swift Creek, Washington, to see the natural hot spring there. The amount of potholes in the road were insane!! We were swaying left and right in the car for ages. I rolled down the window to take a video of the bumpiness. At 0:08 my brother laughed and said, "Hahaha, what are you recording? Feeding Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula a Cricket (3)
มุมมอง 714 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
UGH!!! This would have been such a good feeding video!! But the cricket ran past the hide instead of running straight into "the lion's mouth"!!! So frustrating!! The cut in the video was because I had to catch the cricket of course… Video taken on September 3, 2024.
Feeding Male Giant Vinegaroon a Cricket (2)

A. verrucosus Eating Live/Pre-killed Cricket
มุมมอง 57 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Cobalt dragged the struggling cricket over the cholla wood and started eating it while it was still alive 😬 He's a brutal little fella. The cricket's head was squished before being offered, but it's still alive... So does this count as live or pre-killed?
Giant Vinegaroon Pawing at His Water Dish
มุมมอง 79 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I refilled Píng Guǒ Zhī's water dish. I thought he was gonna take a drink, but he was just petting it with his foot, like a dog pawing at the water in an outdoor pool 😅 I think what he was doing was trying to get to the other side of the dish, but he didn't like stepping in water. Thank you for sharing, and I'm So sorry for your loss
Grief is expressed in so many ways. This creature had value to you ,and a shared existence,,and that's all that matters.
Their voracity knows no bounds, their intellect fueld (fueled?) by grub. Crow buddies strike... Your offering is sating the deities
What was her age, if you know?
No. She was wild-caught.
@@IllusionQueen4Eva I typically leave most spiders be, adoring when jumping spiders are in my home but never taking them from outside.
@@Bendilin I personally don't have anything against it, as long as someone isn't taking in an endangered species, or taking in an animal that isn't doing well in captivity. Every captive-bred animal had ancestors that were wild-caught, after all. This one actually lived longer with me than my other, captive-bred one did, so I think it was most likely just old age. I've never seen this species before, and I thought it was beautiful so I kept it. If I see another one of the same species, I probably wouldn't keep it again. Their lives are too short for me to keep getting heartbroken about, so I'm only keeping species that I've never had previously. I typically don't like having spiders roaming free in the house. I always catch them and take them outside. If it's a jumper that gets into my house and I've never seen the species before, then that's a different story.
@@IllusionQueen4Eva No worries! I just know a lot of people will hatch and raise jumping spiders as pets.
😞
Sorry you lost your little friend 😔
I'm sorry you lost your friend.
looks like a chimera insect : spider, scorpion, and that burrowing insect which i forgot the name. creepy crawlies what'd we expected.
I don't really see the spider features that everyone else is seeing... And maybe you're thinking of the Jerusalem Cricket? They also have elongated and segmented abdomens.
Poor little thing. She had a good life, but it's still sad to see her go.
I did not know creatures like this existed.
Neither did I! I saw a video of them on TH-cam, and thought they looked super cool, so I knew I had to have this species as a pet. They were out of stock so I had to wait more than two years!
It's half spider half scorpion. Sometimes they cross breed in the wild.
@@Rydiculous Haha shuuure. People always say that vinnies look like a cross between a spider and a scorpion, but I personally don't see the spider part of it. They have the pedipalps, the chelicerae, and the legs of a scorpion. Even the tail-like appendage is closer to that of a scorpion than a spider.
Glad to see you uploading again, miss.
Thank you!
The substrate's not going to excavate itself! Gotta stay at it until it's done! 💪
I plan to buy my first vinegaroon sometime in Q2 of 2025. I think I may have a mantis at the same time, but not in the same enclosure!
Hope you get one! They're such neat critters.
You love seeing it happen, don’t you, monster ?
It’s back legs were taken off
That is correct. When I grab the crickets to feed them to my pets, they often drop their back legs in an attempt to distract the predator. It's a phenomenon called "autotomy". It actually makes it a lot easier for me and my pets when they do that, because they always jump out of the feeding cups or the enclosures and I have to chase them down, or they jump out of the grasp of my pets.
Awesome tarantula but I hope that you are not keeping it inside of that tiny tupperware container permanently! Way too small and nowhere for it to hide...... Time to rehouse!
……Pretty much all inverts being sold at expos are kept in deli cups so that they take up less space on the tables, and can be easily and safely transported. The animals do not live in these holding cups (excluding slings) and were only in them for the expo. They are not meant to be temporary housing for a tarantula of this size, let alone a permanent one. This video was taken 20-30 minutes after I got home from the expo. I guess I could have taken another video of me moving her into her enclosure, but I was so tired after waking up super early to get to the expo that I didn't take any more videos of her that night. I know some people purchase animals without doing any research on their husbandry, but Mynah was definitely not an impulse buy. A 3" G. pulchripes, and a confirmed female at that, is not cheap. I think it's safe to say that no one would spend that amount of money on an animal unless they knew what they were doing.
thank you for posting this
That spood is cute & that cricket is huge next to her! Cute video!
I hate spiders, but jumping spiders are adorable!

SACRIFICE FOR THE ARACHNID OVERLORD!!!
✨ BTW, just giving you a heads up. I'm going to unlist/private my newer videos, and then reupload them onto my channel. So if you don't see any more of your comments on some of my videos, that's why. Today, TH-cam decided to implement the rule that all videos under 3 minutes long will become Shorts. I absolutely hate Shorts. They don't allow me to edit my Shorts unless I have the app (which I don't), they make it difficult for people to read description on Shorts, and they put my Shorts in a different tab from my normal videos, which confuses me and my viewers and messes with my OCPD. For these reasons, I'm going to reupload all of the videos that came after "Jumping Spider's Second Cricket" (which has sadly been turned into a short). I'm also going to edit all of my "Shorts" so that they will display as normal videos. It will take a bit of time but I'm hoping to get it done asap. I've read all your comments on my privated videos though!
Was worried for a second there, seen many things in a glass jar as its enclosure. Also I've never heard the word pseudosister before today fun to learn new stuff. Kinda reminds me of the spider from james in the giant peach. Lophorina the true overlord of spiders has been Born!!! Make sure they grow super strong they are taking over the continent for sure.
I personally don't have a problem with keeping invertebrates in jars. Most inverts don't know the concept of "freedom" and aren't affected by the fact that they're in a container. It's not like a goldfish in a glass bowl. My plastic container doesn't have any holes for ventilation though, so it wouldn't be a good enclosure for any animal. I took her out of the container once she was done eating.
@@IllusionQueen4EvaOh my. I did not know this either.. I always saw arachnids in the same field as animals, good to know they won't get depressed though
DRIVE, DRIVE, DRIVE. YOU GOT THIS!!! One day he'll drive that tree out of there. Hes hugging the tire for now to gain a bond so soon enough he will defy logic and with the *power of friendship*!! that tire will become functional for mobility.
