My last two vehicle didn't come with a spare and only a air compressor with tire goo. The vehicles had the space to add a donut or full size spare+tools (SUV and sedan). Now, new vehicles have even less storage space available and you can't add a spare if you want/need on.

The so-called spare tire kit only works if you don't have a blowout. I have personally experienced this. It really sucks being stuck on the side of the road with no spare. In conclusion, having no spare is a stupid idea, likely put forth by bean counters who have never gone through the experience of not having a spare and being stranded.

For what seems forever, each car I have operated have door lock buttons/latches/toggles that are front and center, but no one can find them. Every single person riding especially in the rear seat state, "let me out, I'm locked in, Peter let me out. I can't open my door." The unlock lever is in plain sight but no one believes they have no control over opening their door. Every single time I stop the car. As was cover, each one should read the car's manual and be familiar with identifying the lock and unlock button/latch/toggle.
