    The root cause was willfull obtuseness from the Fire inspector, Club Owners and Band Manager. The club owners from not doing what was right for the safety of their customers and employees by buying deadly sound proofing foam for a discounted price over the proper sound proofing foam that should have been and is normally used for sound proofing in a music venue. The Fire Inspector for failing to properly do his overly paid and connected job of obvious signs of infractions and he actually signs off as if there wasn't any, hinting on corruption or ineptitude especially in the very corrupt city of West Warwick and RI as a whole especially back then. That is just the culture especially in state and city jobs. Wanna be wise guys who look and act similar to mobster criminals but instead have cushy jobs and talk about being somehow connected. Lastly is the very bad decision of a most likely very stoned and ignorant band manager who was warned previously in another similar venue from setting off fireworks inside a small venue without permission especially with a very low ceiling. His actions were grossly and mostly negligent regardless of the other guilty parties actions. His actions was the spark that ignited the turmoil and devastation and could have still happened regardless of the safety infractions and venue. Without the proper safety measures in place, that were never done by the bands manager, his actions sparked the tragedy and was the final ingredient in the massive pot of willful ignorance and his admitted guilt and torment is warranted and at least more honorable then the other guilty parties involved. He had early warning signs but unfortunately ignored them. For example. When a drunk person steals a defective car and then crashes that car and a piece of the car falls off and kills someone, it's more so the drunks fault and not the obtuse owner who didn't fix the struts that flew out and killed the person or the manufacturer that created a poor design that can create this kind of tragedy when in a similar accident 😮 If this is just the owner driving and a simple accident occurs and that happens then maybe it's the manufacturers fault and some blame on the obtuse owner for not fixing an obvious problem that made an already unsafe situation even worst. But when your drunk, you already know you shouldn't be driving and by doing so it's very dangerous and illegal and then you steal a obviously defective car 🤦‍♂️ you should face the brunt of the consequences by willfully accepting to do so. Period. So for me the band manager is the worst, then the inspector, finally the club owners who are supposed to be regulated to do the right thing and they weren't regardless of their moral compass. That show shouldn't have happened with the severe violations and safety concerns like the lack of sprinklers in a obviously small and low ceiling building. The fact that was able to be grandfathered shows the severe disfunction of the RI bureaucracy. Not having the proper emergency exits and properly trained employees and staff. Of course though hindsight is always better then it was when decisions are sometimes made and turn out to be the wrong decisions but these infractions were obvious willfull obtuseness infractions that were unfortunately a culture in a defunct RI system but common sense was apparently absent in this horrible tragedy and for that over 100 people needlessly lost their lives and several more injured and scarred for life both mentally, physically and emotionally and for most financially. Life is never a given even regardless of your honorable actions and more so when your actions are deplorable or misguided. Only God can grant meaningful forgiveness and create meaningful punishment that will satisfy all those affected. RIP to all that lost their lives and my condolences and sympathies to those who were hurt and affected from the tragic events that unnecessarily happened on that cold February night. We will never forget 🙏🏽🫡♥️

    Im not a conspiracy nut but I think this was done on purpose for some ritual, Evil does exist and its out there! Too many things don't make sense, like the guy recording and filming the Exit sign🤔, also the way the club is set up with closed windows with Metal, The material they used to cover the walls, there was also music being played right before the band took the stage one in particular "Meet you maker" Some people find it hard to believe this things can actually happen but make no mistake the DVL is out there and Evil people on this earth.

    • @jimdombrowski2435
      @jimdombrowski2435 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don’t under estimate yourself, if you believe this you have all it takes to be a conspiracy nut. These people died and were injured because of people being stupid, greedy, and criminal or corrupt. It starts with the fire/building inspector who has no valid excuse for his role in this disastrous accident. The owners for cheaping out on their sound insulation and painting it, and the band leader and his manager who were managing a big shot 80’s band that was in decline and trying to revive or at least maintain their life in rock and roll continued using pyro gimmicks to try to remain viable. Any one with a lick of common sense does not light off 15 foot pyro in a wooden structure with 12 foot ceilings, even if they had contractual agreements and a supposed fireproof room (neither of which they had anything close to). So Jack Russell (bandleader for Great White) was either criminally stupid and selfish or just criminal and selfish. I believe the owners, the fire inspector, the band manager, the guy with responsibility for the pyro and Jack Russell should all be in jail and be doing 25 to life for 100 acts of involuntary manslaughter. The bouncers who followed directions and wouldn’t let attendees use all the viable and closest exits also should be imprisoned for their role in this accident; how many lives were lost due to people who were focused on business as usual in an obvious catastrophe unfolding in front of them. Everyone else was pretty much an innocent victim. Sad story, hopefully the changes that occurred afterward in building codes saved lives and prevented other fires, that way those who were injured and/or died did not do so in vain. Sad story. Wish only the very best for either the families of both the dead and those who were impacted and survived. They deserved greater justice than they ever got from either the criminal or civil courts even though no amount of either could have compensated the loss suffered by all of these victims. This story has shaped the way I attend large gatherings and public events and what I look for when I am there. Very sad, much respect and love for those adversely impacted.

    This has always hit home to me. I was born 2 years after this tragedy happened im a guitarist and regular venue goer, a part of me fails to believe that the oversight of the fire inspector was nothing short of gross negligence looking at pictures of the club pre fire it was impossible not to see the foam. It is very rare to see acoustic foam used to such a heavy degree outside of a sound proofed studio or occasionally professional rehearsal rooms. At least in the UK I believe acoustic foam is required to be labelled as flammable or non flammable and there are quite strict restrictions on how it can be used. What leaves me in complete disbelief is the fact that as a professional musician you would see acoustic foam regardless if you believed it was flammable and go “what a brilliant idea” in fact it’s pretty rare to ever see pyro in such an enclosed space and you pretty much never see free burning pyro in any venue that has such an enclosed space. I really don’t understand how it never crossed either the band manager of club owners Brians that this was not a brilliant idea however it’s not solely on the bands tour manger there is photos of bands previous to great white using various forms of pyro in the station. It was a disaster waiting to happen and it seems heart breakingly inevitable.

I personally think he was really in love with Bernard and was just desperate to hold on to him and so became a pathological lier in order to stay close to him. I don’t think Bernard Boursicot was angry because he was fooled, but because he had come to the realization his life was just a fantasy he was equally responsible for. I feel terrible for them both. Here is a list of the deadliest night club fires in the United States… Cocoanut Grove, 1942, 492 deaths Rhythm Club, 1940, 209 deaths Beverly Hills Supper Club, 1977, 165 deaths The Station, 2003, 100 deaths. Total deaths from these four fires…966 deaths. These do not take into account night club fires worldwide, these are the deadliest in the United States. The worst fire in the history of the United States happened in 1903 at the newly opened Iroquois Theater in Chicago, Illinois. Code violations and dangerous conditions within the building created the perfect climate for this fire. 602 people, many who were children, died as a result. Sadly, greed, and cutting corners are often the underlying cause of such tragedies. On the bright side many positive reforms to fire safety have been made over the decades. It’s sad that these reforms come at such a high price.

    I advise you to revise your historical knowledge and make corrections. In 1894 Russia was still an Empire. The Soviets would not take power until 1917 at the beginning of the bolshevik revolution. It is also worth noting that Cho Man Sik was approached by the Soviets not because of his popularity, but by the power delegated to him by the Japanese when they planned to evacuate from the peninsula at the end of the war (the reasons as to why they did so may vary).

    Yukio tried to look for his ex-girlfriend after being released. He loved her, and not finding her was heart-shattering for him. But I also believe that he felt betrayed by her action of reporting him to the police. He perhaps expected her to laud his heinous act and run away together so that they could make love for eternity. However, in reality, she reported him and was locked up for a few years. This could also be a reason why he specifically targeted her lookalike. It was like revenge for him by taking her life. By murdering her, he reached the ultimate peace and felt that he had nothing else to do in life. Therefore, I wonder if he purposely let himself get caught. He did not attempt to dodge the police's questions or even run away. He was basically inviting the judge to hand him the death penalty.

    In the 2003 fire, The front entrance was noted to be too narrow for an emergency exit. The windows were covered with decorative metal coverings; you can hear people screaming inside trying to break out the glass but they were only hitting metal, then you can hear people falling on the floor. You could see people in the doorway engulfed in flames. Horrible!! The Pyrotechnic machine was far to large to be used in that size room. That machine is sized to be used in a arena. The nightclub ceiling was too low.

      @@Beep_beep-pl7rd No. Windows had decorative metal grate on all of them. The front entrance was narrow. More people would've escaped if they double filed out the door but they crammed in and piled on each other.. Club security refused exit out back to protect the band. The band would've wanted anyone to use backstage exit.. Very sad.

    So how do I apologize and put the tears back in your eyes when every canvas that I paint is a masterpiece of my mistakes and in the light of my demise I see my failures in your eyes every canvas that I paint is a masterpiece made of my mistakes RIP Junko Furuta (1972-1989)

    i heard that japan government made up that "school bully got rejected" thing to save their reputation and make this horrible crime more soft. some sources says it was a revenge for getting rejected, some of them says murderers was just bored and thought some "fun" thing to do, so they tricked Junko. I heard at first they were planning to just play with her, rape her and release her but one of them stopped and kept her and when Junko had a crisis they didn't know what to do so they burnt her and put her into a barrel or something and poured concrete.
