I cant make the jump on 1:09, I use jump and then ctrl while moving forward. Can you help please?
you crouch, jump, crouch again, ctrl spacebar( or mousewheel whichever one you use) ctrl again
i had problems with that jump for a while before i figured out lol

@@fst534 Uh yea strafe and crouch, i had alot of problems with that jump for a while till i just made it one time and now i can do it most of the time
@@fst534 try to just repeat what i do i guess, go from the left side, strafe and then crouch at the end

? he said not to use displacement and normal map at the same time. normal maps for closeup and displacement for everything else
Like for the textures? cuz i just downloaded and imported it from the poliigon add on and kinda skipped a bit of the brick downloading thing because i thought it was over.
@@klimniard yeah there is a section in the tutorial about displacement and normal maps you should check it out. From what It understood, apparently since they both do the same thing it doubles the displacement so you should either have one or the other. He said even the node wrangler gets this wrong

Don't follow that, I'd say his information is kind of now obsolete. If you want a good tutorial on making good materials (where you don't have to pay money for photos canned materials) you should look into Ryan King art's procedural material tutorials. You'll get better stuff and not only that it will save you from ram heavy work flows

@@username_built thing is i dont really want to use any bleed or like cheese-ish weapons on my first playthrough
@@klimniard you should probably just get some stones to upgrade your weapon then that's the best I can do to give advice then

Some things I recommend to improve your gameplay for scout and sniper are turning on fast weapon switch in advanced options, increasing fov (options > video > advanced), disabling mode acceleration (options > mouse > raw input) some more specific things I’ve learned, if you want to force improvement for classes, dedicate yourself to them! It’s easier to learn when you stay as the class you were just playing. Aim trainers like kolacks (however you spell it) are good for sniper and improving aim. One more thing, incorporate a/d spam into your scout gameplay, after doing this you eventually get into the rhythm of moving and shooting. Some good scout movement patterns for me are: circular motion (wdsawdsa) and shooing while you press the W key. Another piece of advice is stick with stock, it’s easier to get kills when you have your pistol, and I’d only recommend ditching it when you can secure kills with your scattergun alone. Hope this helps!
Ty I’ll try this with my friend that actually plays tf2 alot, but like my aim is just kinda mid tbh and I’m not good at moving and shooting since I play cs2 where I just stand and shoot lol
@@klimniard yeah, if you’re playing as scout and you see more then one guy, run, it’s harder to dodge two streams of bullets at once.
