Coast to Coast - Do the Hucklebuck

Now here's a dance you should know! When the lights are down low! Grab your baby, then go! Do the Hucklebuck do the Hucklebuck If you don't know how to do it Then you're out of luck! Shove your baby in twist her all around Then you start a twisting mad and moving all around. Wiggle like a snake waddle like a duck That's what you do when you do the Hucklebuck. Here's a dance you should know! Whe...

L.A.'s fine, the sun shines most the time And the feeling is "lay back" Palm trees grow and rents are low But you know I keep thinkin' about Making my way back Well I'm New York City born and raised But nowadays, I'm lost between two shores L.A.'s fine, but it ain't home New York's home, But it ain't mine no more "I am"... I said To no one there And no one heard at all Not even the chair "I am"...

Sitting in my car, listening to the radio I had just fitted, as I waited for my Fiance to finish lectures at the Teacher training college in Winchester on a sunny afternoon. Such a lovely afternoon. We never married .

A beautiful song I remember going to school about 1970 and hearing this song I could not understand some of the words growing up in Jamaica I used to stay up late at night listening to the radio with a pencil and paper trying to write the words down

There was a girl she was my best friend.i should have done better. I had everything and blew it. She stays 850kms away. She doesn't even speak to me now. At one time we would speak day and night.when ever I was down I would call her. And i would feel better instantly. ❤

I was a baby, a Hungarian refugee at the Knockalasheen camp in Limerick, in 1956, for about a year. Owing to that experience, and the humbling kindness of the local people, who certainly had their own problems, to this day, and for rest of my life, I will not hear a word against the Irish (North, South, I don't care). As a teenager, I loved this song and knew every word. I am trying to locate a collection of dress patterns by Belmain, made for Vogue in the 60s, so that all of my clothes will be made (or at least designed) by Belmain!

I first heard this song on WREK Georgia Tech Public Radio at 91.1 FM. I could never locate the title or artist for this song until some 30 years later. Although similar in many aspects to Carly Simon’s “You’re so Vain” this is worlds better!
