Ozu Pillow Shot
มุมมอง 52K11 ปีที่แล้ว
This is A Supercut project that i made to show some of Yasujiro Ozu's fantastic pillow shots. the music and sound recordings are: One And The Same, Beginnings And Endings by Dale Lloyed, and Graced By Lonliness recorded by Michael Shannon. Both songs are from the album Yasujiro Ozu: Hitokomakura.
Isn:t this kind of what you see in between anime episdoes

I’m no film expert, but any one of these shots would make me think, “Ozu”.
Why these shots are called "Pillow shots", what is the rationale for that? If you could explain it will be a great help for me.Thanks.
Where can is the music from? None of the items in the description returned anything
This is the album its from: www.allmusic.com/album/yasujiro-ozu-hitokomakura-mw0002076700
@@Ginronmaster1994 awesome thank you
Man did his sound test in an auditorium, and honestly, why does it kinda help it sound even more heavenly.
Some of these are just actual parts of the movie's plot, not pillow shots
wow it doesnt even look real at first i thought it was a render great job!
Much THOCC
Did u do this soundtest in a basement
Holy crap that backspace......
THOCK THOCK
This is what i really want to find
is this the 65% kit for the keycaps. i wanna know if the 65% kit fits a 60% keyboard.
It was the TKL kit, i don't think the 65% kit has a normal sized right shift.
@@Ginronmaster1994 the tkl has a 1.75u rshift and 1.5 u keys next to the spacebar on the right
why does it sound like you recorded this in a church
Welcome to the church of keeb, type your sins and all shall be forgiven :) (the building i recorded in has tall vaulted ceilings so its pretty close to a church)
@@Ginronmaster1994 umm i came here to confess a sin... i like mx browns
@@zivilll **visible continuous gasping**
omg the snap in the beginning lmfao
Man's fingers like Thanos'
you are right, damn was a crisp snap i must say
That's nice
1:02 movie?
💐👍
Thank you for this
I was glad to see this video at first, but some of these aren't even pillow shots.
1:01 Zhang Ziyi??? :O
that's racist
huh? I was remarking the lady looks a lot like her
moviemanwill How is that racist in any way?
It falls under the "All Asians Look the Same" stereotype.
moviemanwill I'm a South East Asian guy with Chinese blood, so the insinuation of being racist is just bizarre. Like I said, the lady in the video looked a lot like the actress Zhang Ziyi, like how Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan or Stephen Colbert and Bob Saget look so much alike. Search up the word doppelgänger to get the memo
awesome
This is great! I just read about pillow shots on a movie review and wanted to look them up. Thanks for the video because I didn't quite understand what it was when reading about it.
@Misty Wisty I came here from Roger Ebert's review on that movie
very nicely done. love the music.
i could watch this for hours.
I have.
