I love everything about this so much! That guitar... the tone... the jazzy...
Sounds like you got a bit of reverb going there...sounds good!
👏👏👏👏👏❤🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice!
I am mesmerized. I might get that fast someday. Very Awesome!❤🎉🎉🎉❤
Can I get a cheeseburger with everything on it?
@@Thunderer45 You go to Hardy's or McDonald's and let them fix 'em for you
@@brucenicholls854 I don’t know what the big deal is, I can get what I want from Roy’s Big Burger….
Lovely tune
How much does that guitar weigh???
3 gazillion pounds
@@perrysar5954 It's heavy, I've never weighed it but it as heavy as Les Pauls ( which I have owned) and it was heavy before I put any decorations on it.
Love it
Filmore!
Sure is, hope all is well with you !
Boomer Bends- Man, insane talent and precision. Lovely song.
SHIIIIIIIIIT man holy fuck that is insane
Lovely
Whoa! That’n will sure bust up your conch! Psychedelic!
I'm an intermediate guitar player that loves jazz and blues. I've been practicing a lot lately to get better and just wanted to say thanks for videos you're providing me with lots of inspiration.
@@rlwdesigns Thank you my friend, best of luck to you,and for me the journey of learning was the most fun of all.
I thought I heard a snippet of Sweet Georgia Brown in there too!
Amazing ❤🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I miss seeing the big box, but the Peavey is fun too.
Would a way to create a Joe Pass kind of thing be to play the single note then the chord that’s the lick is around, and string them all together like that? Is that how Pass did it?
Yeah Doug ,that sounds right to me.My favorite of all the solo albums by Pass is the first Virtuoso record on Pablo records.
@@brucenicholls854 I like that one too…in Rick Beato’s interview with George Benson he asked Benson if he ever jammed with Pass. George’s eyes got big and he said he knew better than to try and jam with Joe!
How do you play like that man those jazz licks are clean
😂
Boy picks more before breakfast than most of us can get to in a month of Sundays.
Can we get some tabs for this? Damn I wanna be able to play that so bad haha so nasty 🤘
@@sagereefer Sorry,I don't how to do tab.Maybe I can do a video to show the positions and fingering on that lick.
@@brucenicholls854 that would be spectacular brother!!! You’re the man those fingers are lightning ⚡️
Hey hey! That's what I call...Surfing the fretboard 💖🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So good!
Great lick! Also, aweseom custom art on that RG, looks great!
👍
Nicely done…I heard that Pat Martino liked Jerry Fields…is that true? Or is it just a local legend? I remember a guy at Music Makers told me that Chet knew and liked Jerry as well.
Yeah,Pat first came to Richmond when he was 18,playing with Don Patterson at a place called The Redevou East.He came into Jacobs Music on First and Broad and that's were Jerry met him.Jerry had a letter from Pat on his wall in his studio.I met Pat at a clinic he was doing about 5 years ago and asked him about when he came to Richmond and said I knew Jerry and some other people. He got a big smile on his face and said, I don't remember the othere but I definitely remember Jerry Fields.I knowJerry played a party where Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed where there, but I don't know anything else about that. But Pat really liked Jerry and Jerry's playing.
@@brucenicholls854 wow…that’s impressive. Jerry was a legend!
Sounds clean to me
What a treat 🔥 Thank you Bruce 🙏
Thank you, for your support and kind comments.
You're one bad dude! I love your playing.
@@HMJohnsonGuitar Looks who's talking !
@@brucenicholls854 I couldn't carry your guitar case.
Mercy! No question about it, you own Cherokee and always have, and I have had a close up view!
@@Thunderer45 'preciate ya'
Wow! You’re like Muhammad Ali…a bad man! That was great…thanks! And you brought back some memories there. Not only did I take from you but I also took a few lessons from Jerry Fields…Jacob’s on Broad Street! Loved that!!!!
❤🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice! Do you know Cherokee? I guess that’s a dumb question…had a buddy who took lessons from Mike Es who told him that you knew more songs than anyone 😂
Yeah, Doug, I've done some videos playing Cherokee. When I took from Jerry Fields he showed it to me and I practiced playing around those chords quite a bit.Thank you for your support.
I love your Ibanez! I have 7 RGs and just got a JEM Jr., my son has an RG and just got a Gio Mikro that I'm upgrading for him. I may try one of these PGMM31Ds, pretty neat (and I love reversed headstocks)!
I had no idea jazz cats used that kind of picking technique until I found your channel. Gonna try that out, thanks Bruce
you seem like you’d be a blast to jam with brother
hoooweeeee bruce got riffs on deck
Damn dude you can really lick
That was amazing man. Also your guitar body is sick. Great! 👏
I just added this video to my "Early music played on electric guitar or electric bass guitar" TH-cam playlist.
Wowww that guitar and the strap look sooo sick!! You are not chilling with your skills tho❤️❤️
Walter…

Nice! Love the rhythm/chords along with single notes-Joe Pass!
I have a hard time finding my dink most days. 😊
I heard a outstanding guitarist, that was class 👍
I'm surprised your pick doesn't burst into flame ! Is that a short scale guitar ?
Yes it's an Ibanez Mikro Paul Gilbert model PGMM3I
fancy! where to get the score?
I don't know the name of the song is, but it was in a 1950's Gunsmoke episode. called "The Guitar Player"
