Don't buy this. Waste of money. It doesn't fit all cars' dash. I tried a zillion ways and it just slips off easily. Also it only allows to mount the cell in landscape mode; I prefer mounting my cell upright for navigation but no way to do that with this holder. And to cap it all, they are not accepting returns. I purchased from esdoro though; not ebay.

I have a 2005 Mazda3, I tried using this a couple of years ago. It didn't work, my iPad was too heavy and the mount kept falling off. It also damaged my CD player.

I find there's a bunch of thes things some with long flexible necks and the one in your video I think for the purpose of glare or perhaps people with glasses the closer to the driver the better no distraction from eye movements however some points to make they do come loose some don't fit mirrors properly and will vary from car to car or truck to truck I found that some type of double sided tape is a good remedie to keep it from sliding or slipping a solution for a great idea I my self found a modal with a long goose neck at a flee market and see money well spent the down side as mentioned is they do come loose or slipped off nothing perfect still a great idea the tape idea works well for those irregular shaped mirrors

I feel like it would slip off if I made a big or quick turn . So it might not be suitable for every car but if you know any ones that stick to the car dash please let me know. I’d love to learn about it and find a sturdy one. Thank you have blessed days!🖤🙏🏽🖤

About 80% of states have laws against mounting things from mirror. JUST SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.

So it looks pretty loose once the tablet is mounted in there. Does it tighten up so it doesn't move around going down an off-road trail?

That's great but 1. It obscurs driver's view and is therefore illegal and ticketable, and, 2. Alligator clip grip action is great until you stop your car short which is often, clip loses dash grip, comes loose, and hence phone comes loose too.
