I love it!!! Just tried the 2018 vintage and its super alive and awaking in 2024

Hey mate, nice review. Just polished off a bottle of 2020. Was a fantastic experience, definitely enjoyed the leather and forest floor notes, long lasting and deep fruit fragrance. I let it breathe for 24 hours so I wasn’t just enjoying that last glass at it’s premature peak. Enjoying a whole bottle with a South Australian black Angus aged rib eye was truly an amazing experience. Yep, I’m a South Aussie so I’m spoiled here but this wine was an experience of balance and structure from start to finish. 2020 vintage price here in sa is $195 a bottle. What’s the price there? 🙏🏼

Lovely lovely wine. Beautiful aroma, the acidity I found is well balanced with its body. I had it with an egg pesto casserole. It was lovely together. Next I’ll try it with seafood. 👍🏻excellent wine Sean

Volcanic Pinot! Love that description. Always use Pinot as a comparison but volcanic makes it cooler sounding.

I'm drinking this vintage whilst watching this video. I love this wine, in fact it's my favourite of their whole range save for the Lousas Parcela Seoane (which in the UK is double price). Wholly agree with your food pairing suggestions. May I add herby greek food (e.g. oregano & pork gyros with tzatziki). I have subscribed, please keep going.

Wow, "balanced" is a great word... tannins are subdued, very nice mix of fruit and spice. Oak is not noticeable to me, but extremely drinkable immediately after opening the bottle. Thanks Sean!

How does it compare to Prosecco?

Fantastic wine. Unique for sure. Definitely savoury & floral. The acidity is high so perfect with bbq meats & cheese. The tennis to me are perfect gives it mouth appeal. 👍🏻thanks Sean for the introduction. If you have any mor bottles I’d take one.

Delicious. It truly is a very versatile wine. It can be chilled or slightly above the chill. The flavours for me intensify when slightly above the chill. Love this wine.

Just opened the champagne. A perfect wine to celebrate at lovely sunny Mother’s Day. Had with a bbq brunch of eggs, bacon and toasted homemade waffles. What a unique champagne. A slight sweet , the feel on the mouth was so lovely. 🤔could bought more bottles. Cheers to this lovely champagne.

for me one of the best cellar defenders for my rioja wines. cellar defender means the cheaper wines you can drink without having to open the wines you want to store longer. same goes for viña ardanza. cheers from spain. reminds me of good classy burgundy.

Thank you for selecting this wine. It’s a unique wine. You’re are right the aroma is full body but so crisp on the palate. It seems so many people what to shy away from tannins on the palette 🤷🏼‍♀️. I loved it on this wine. I too served it slightly chilled. I had it with ribs & steak the the next day.

Lovely wine. First time ever tasting this grape. Love the fruitiness, the aroma is soft flora. It’s lovely chilled but as well slight of the chill. Any Argentinian dishes they would pair with.

Finished that bottle in a flash 🤣. This wine slightly chilled tasted lovely on these hot summer evenings. The dish you described in the video sounds incredible.

Super interesting wine. It can be served very chilled but a slight warming while it sits in the glass added another element.
