Minecraft's Easiest Cactus Farm! (3 min build)
มุมมอง 777หลายเดือนก่อน
A modern approach to making a simple cactus farm in Minecraft that takes only a couple minutes to build! This farm is stackable, easily modifiable, and very cheap to build, being primarily made out of scaffolding.

Is Minecart-Based Storage Too Laggy?? (IMGAY V2)
มุมมอง 4.2K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
This video discusses the lag implications of using a Minecart-based storage room, and how to get around that! Previous video: th-cam.com/video/QROh90WTFXg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oGug3MZQxezeBHAl
Simple Infinite Item Storage (IMGAY V2)
มุมมอง 31K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Infinite Mass Guarded Accessible Yield is a super cheap storage room that utilizes chest minecarts to store unlimited items. It is very easy to build and is super quick to input and withdraw items! (This was named entirely by me. Gliding Monkey and Sam. had no involvement in the naming of it, they only worked on the design.) Designed by Critty Katie, Gliding Monkey, Sam. World Download: dri...
Infinite Item Storage using Minecarts (IMGAY)
มุมมอง 4814 หลายเดือนก่อน
Designed entirely by me. This is a storage system with infinite storage potential and doesn't use shulker boxes at all, featuring simple item retrieval methods.

i love balatro music
Clever design. Now we wait to see how many other posters put up copies without acknowledging you!
Hey, could you take a look at Sethbling's minecart storage? I always built that in my worlds but it bugs out a bit. I love this storage but if you could update his I'd be so appreciative.
why is it always the femboy furries that are the smartest
For a significantly cheaper version, you could get rid of the rails, and just put a ring of slabs around the edge of the scaffolding, so the water pushes the cactus off the edge, and then just make 1 collection system at the bottom ( you can also fit twice as many cactus per layer this way). Otherwise, really cool design
Super cool design as always!
Thanks!
9:59 godbye to me ears jsjajsjaja
so are composters desinged badly or beautifully
I actually like these interactions, it adds more depth than just composting pumpkins directly and it gives another use to crafters
I WANNA MAKE A COOKIE BONEMEAL FARM NOW
Thanks I will make a pumpkin based bonemeal farm next survival of mine
Nice video, bringing attention to some weird composting stuff But some of these are really inpractical, such as having someone shear a pumpkin to get more bonemeal. It also breaks the shears. And I don't think anyone farms wheat and cocoa just for bonemeal. However I like the pumpkin to seed one because its easily autocraftable, people use pumpkins for bonemeal, and its 2x returns!
Thanks! And yeah a lot of these aren’t practical like you said, but I feel like I’d be missing something if I didn’t mention cookies for example (plus it’s funny). I could totally see the pumpkin seeds being used though and I’ve been doing so on a world I’ve been playing, and if it wasn’t for that then I probably wouldn’t have made this video. I could probably make a short on just the seeds, I’ll think about it.
24w33a breaks minecart stacking, is there a new version in the works ?
Great question! I've been thinking of an alternative version to this, but I don't have anything yet. I'll start coming up with some ideas with the new minecart physics
@@CrittyKatie 24w34a actually re-enables cart stacking/dispensing so it doesn't look like its necessary, i think it would still be a cool video to see if a theoretical alt system that uses the no-stacking aspects would still work
I'm interested...I have some concerns about lag if I use this on a server... got any tips on optimizing for that using this system? What size system starts to slow down a typical world?
Ha. Found your followup vid. Looks like you've already answered my question
I have seen this like 1 year ago tho...
All fun and games until a creeper blows the back wall off and the stacked minecarts self propel themselves into infinity
cool design but an insane lag machine
"IMGAY" lmao xD
for people saying "thats a lot of iron!", bro you are clearly missing out, stop playing mc now please
if you're already going to be using stacked chest minecarts, just stack them all in the same block and put a locked hopper below it, when you want items fill the hopper with the item and unlock it. 1x1x4-tall system with infinite storage
This is a really cool alternative storage! Happy Redstoning!
Before i realized there were more versions I was like "dude this took 3 people?"
Thats a lot of entities
Stop using rails! Use rails!
фигня полная
I can see myself by an accident dropping my sword in it amd than having to destroy all the old minecrafts to get to my sword
Neat, I didn’t know the bit about priority for opening/interacting with chest minecarts
Hey I think IMGAY it's cool, can you make an automatic version, and what I mean is a version that can work with a single item farm, like an iron farm, so once the cart gets filled, it drops the minecart and goes for the next one, perhaps, shifting to a different rail after a set amount of mincrafts have landed in that rail
Hey, I'm a bit late to your comment, but I've been thinking of doing so! With the new minecart physics in the latest snapshot, I'd need an updated version anyways so it seems like a good time for it
I like the design but the minecart chests are a entity , which means if u have a lot of them it will get lagy .
This is definitely going into my base, the thing that I love the most about this system is that is nether proof, where I'm building my house
IMGAY
Amazing! Have you considered using a comparator to automatically dump the upper minecart chest when full?
Minecarts are notorious for randomly despawning. Otherwise this would be brilliant.
5:08 this is *perfect* for afk fish farms! gets quite annoying early on needing to keep adding rows to the bottom of the chests, and I don't really want to throw the items out either
oh, cool! that's nice to see it's better than I'd expected I'm curious about combining this with shulker box loaders, so the inputs and outputs are shulker boxes, and those get loaded and unloaded from chest minecarts as you need them... I think that'd be pretty cool, and would save a lot on the lag while still having the "infinite"ly expandable feature! thank you so much!
this is very cool
I.M.G.A.Y is the absolute best name bau bau :3
I still have no clue how this works
On my server there is plugin that despawns minecarts in you stack more than 1 in single place 💀
Even though this is a very creative way for storing items, it causes two issues: It creates too many entities as it adds more and more minecarts, which will for sure cause lag. The second, is that this increase the amount of memory a chunck holds, which might cause chunck corruption, lots of ssd/hd space being consumed, ram to load everything up. Definitely will make server owners mad 😂 Use this for a few items that you too many of, and use regular item filters for the rest
bro what is that name 💀
I think I remember JKM makimg a joke about storing items like this. Little did he know... Genuinely this is a really good storage system for early in the game, and honestly I feel like it would last for a long time for most things, until you get to the point of building gigantic crazy farms. I love this
Are we sure that was a joke? Storage tech IS his passion after all
What if you load the minecrafts with shulker boxes
Does it work on bedrock?
I love innovation in early game survival friendly tech. Its a nice change from the ultra optimized ultra efficient builds that take hours to build and make operatable in survival.
What can i use besides glow lichen?
I'm a bit late, but you could probably use signs! We just chose glow lichen since it's easy to farm, but there should be a couple things
But I'm guessing it's super laggy on server because of how many entities the game would need t handle
THIS IDEA IS INCREDIBLE.... but it uses minecarts, I have a very bad experience when using minecarts/boats on them despawning on me, I know Mojang made them better in like 3-4 updates ago, but still...
biggest downside for me is having to go around and manually putting away each and every item you have.
