I disagree with this technique. You can’t do a two step polyvinyl unless the tray material is putty. This technique in the video can cause delamination. The light body might not adhere to the heavy body in the tray. You have to do a one step, while the assistant is filling up the tray with heavy body the doctor is using the light body on the prepped teeth.

Once accounted for contrast difference, the second X-ray shows almost no difference vs the first one.

Any measurement of whether this process was effective at all? Easy to see the difference it makes on facial surfaces, but maybe provide an X-ray to show reduced translucency for a proximal?

It was a wonderful presentation, one thing I didn't like was the preparation of teeth without a water beam, that was dangerous and could have caused serious harm to the child. So please always use a high volume water beam while preparing a cavity.
