Nike finally brought back the beloved Pegasus Turbo under the new Pegasus "Plus", but the question is: does it live up to the standard set for it by its predecessors all those years ago? Is the broken-in superblast v2 softer than a broken-in superblast v1? My superblast v1, with a 150km on it, does not feel soft enough for my liking...
@@dhoang75 yeah, I would say so. It still isn’t a super soft or squishy shoe as the FFTurbo+ is still a firmer cushion, but it is definitely softer out of the box than version 1 and to me didn’t feel like it had as much of a break in time.
Which one do you prefer, version 1 or 2 ?
Version 2, but both are spectacular shoes if you can get your hands on either.

Yes. I got 600 miles out of superblast 1 before getting the 2. Nike zoom fly 6 seems like a decent alternative though for people who can't get the superblast.
Can’t wait to try the zoom fly 6. Will have a review coming soon for sure
Oh I’m on the 100 mile mark too lol I’m curious what you will say
Let’s hear your thoughts!
I ended up going a half size down, mainly because of what you're describing about the midfoot. My foot is a little narrow, so maybe that is why. When I first put it on, I thought it may be an issue; however, no problems so far.
I could see that being an issue with a narrow foot for sure!
Got on sale for $65🫣
Nike check!
Nimbus 26 or GlideRide Max?
@@arov235 definitely the Glideride max, 10$ more is worth it no doubt
Is this shoes for forefoot or heel strikers
Either. Nice rocker definitely helps with a heel to toe transition but still has great bounce out of the forefoot
@@mitchhopf I am concerning to buy it over Novablast 4 as my daily driver. What your recommendation?
@@mirmohsanalitalpur5884I would chose the Novablast as a daily shoe and keep the Glideride as a long run shoe. It could be a daily trainer, but it shines brightest on longer efforts
@@mirmohsanalitalpur5884 I have both and prefer the Glideride for daily training. The Novablast is dull compared to this in my opinion.
It’s grind time 🫡 I’ll join you as I train for 17:59
Keep at it! I would absolutely love to tag along and watch the journey.
