Traded the obs 7.3 for a 6.0?
Just a 2 month update since I traded the obs for a 6.0. Had a no crank no start being the stand pipes having a blown o ring. After that it was over heating and decided to flush the oil cooler instead of replacing it and I show you guys how flushed it, follow by polishing the wheels and added some 315/70R17 wheels. Troubleshooting no power when warm on a 7.3 powerstroke

Had a 7.3 that would run normal when cold , but once it got warm it will lose power and not want to drive. After diagnosing the issue , I check the fuel pressure and saw it at 0 psi knowing I had a blockage from the fuel pump back to the tank.
Swapping stock turbo to smeding SD366 turbo on 4th gen Cummins

Due to the vgt turbo failing and exhaust brake not working I went with a aftermarket turbo and did a 3rd gen exhaust manifold setup as well! I’m running the SD366/73/.91 cast setup

7.3 ipr solenoid problem

In this video I show how i troubleshooting this problem with ipr solenoid. Pass 3 weeks when I would accelerate from a dead stop the truck was stutter and want to turn off or completely turn off. Any help would be appreciated. I am still not done trouble shooting it where I could use any of you guys help. My guess would be to get the nut that I am missing.
What year is your truck? I have a 1994 and its doing the same thing. I accelerate lightly and truck shuts off

Just food for thought, I found a drain tube on Amazon for the 5.9 that does not require using the extension, it slightly longer than the drain tube that's on our VGT turbo's and it has the right curvature from the S300 to the block.
I also changed my tank it kept rusting out I changed two and then I finally got to stainless steel tank
You probably need a fuel pump I'm buying one now for my truck same truck $800 fuel pump

Im from Madison county lived in winder ga for a year moved back to Elbert county I got a 95 f250 7.3 power stroke mine doing that random shut off while driving but it cranks back up like literally right back I don’t have to manually start truck back up unless truck is idling
trying to figure out mine doing exactly this. 96 7.3 powerstroke obs. seems to restart after take foot off the gas. and itll shut off randomly after driving for an ~hour
@@twistedtransistor6166did you figure out why your truck is shutting off? My 2002 does the same.
Does you exhaust brake still work

Just curious but where you leaking fuel too?
Would u recommend this brand cause I have a 6.7 powerstroke and I’m getting a non vgt turbo for 2300 need to know if brand any good
The brand is good , but the product isn’t top Quality. Just remember you get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong , I’ve had the setup for a year and no issues, but I don’t how the machining from the turbo came out, had a few chips and could be a lot better. Sorry for late reply !
Did you do any fuel mods and is it a stock 68rfe
Fuel and trans are both stock.
How do you like the turbo setup ? Any issues
I love it ! No issues beside for the the boot they give you for the oil drain that goes to the block.

Did you have to retune it or did you get any engine codes for the missing vgt?

Haha no just working alot and schooling, i had no time for youtube. Took me a month just to pick up the camera but feels good!
so what was wrong with it the ipr?
john dowe the nut at the end of ipr fell into the valley so when i would pull the wire it would cause the truck to turn off , just had to tighten the nut back on. Haven't had any problems ever since.
DatWhiteObs well I'm shit out of luck, I just installed a new one and the nut is on there pretty tight so this doesn't help lol. Been having hell trying to get my truck to stay on
john dowe hmmm, best guess is check the wires and make sure you dont have shortage.
DatWhiteObs yeah I had about four dudes work on it today cleaning all the grounds and everything, gonna buy another cps and see what it does. I already took out the pcm from another truck so maybe that might be it idk
