So despite blocking off the underside of my sofa, I had to carefully encourage Jasmine out by lifting the sofa by myself this morning until she ran out to get her breakfast. Apologies for all the huffing and puffing!

I'm Jen and today I am starting the process of adopting a special needs cat. This is day one and I have got permission from my land lord and registered my interest in the cat I've spotted. Fingers crossed!
A Promise from the Airport

My fiancé and I have just found out that our immigration packet has been lost, including the $350 money order we sent with it. So now we start over. We won't give up. This is my promise to him that there will be no more goodbyes in this airport. Ever. Apologies for the blotchy face, I have been crying pretty hard. #immigration #firstday

It's been a long week at work, I come outside to a gorgeous sunset and a flock of starlings murmurating. This is similar to fish swimming in a shoal and gives the birds safety in numbers.

It's amazing how quickly the weather can turn. Our poor cats were playing in the garden when they suddenly started getting pelted by hail. So much for rain... I think it hit a powerup on the way down.
