Many n00bs here who think this is fake... well, I'm just as good (or even better) than this pilot. I can assure you n00bs out there that this is normal speed and joystick-flying.

Couple things went wrong in this, and I'll point them out so you know (and for any other ArmA pilots who want to learn too): 1) with your fast stops, occasionally you would gain about 30m altitude during your decease in speed. The problem with this is that when you go higher, even if only 10 or 20 metres, more enemies around you are going to see you. It doesn't matter how low you'd been flying before that, as soon as you rise to 30m (even if for just a moment) people see you and aim your way. It's much safer for the mission if you were to just approach low and slow so that you don't need the rise in altitude to stop. 2) at the end when you're taking out ifrits (the car with the gun on top) you used SIX missiles to take out 3 cars. The ifrits were all very close together, and even if you only hit the middle one with the missile, the explosion would disable the other two, if not destroy them completely. You may be thinking 'what's the point - I got them all and 6 missiles isn't too much', but when providing Close Air Support your effectiveness is measured not by how many explosions you make, but by how long you stay in the sky being a dominant asset. If you use six missiles to take out what one missile could do, you're quickly going to deplete your ammo and will have to return to base to re arm. It's better to be efficient, unless of course the sittuation demands that you destroy those ifrits as fast as possible regardless of cost... 3) Speed isn't everything. When flying that fast and that low to the ground you run the risk of flying yourself into an ambush. It's better to slow it down a bit, that way you have more time to appreciate the sittuation and your surroundings and confirm that there isn't any danger up ahead - a number of times you'd fly very fast round tree lines, not knowing or seeing what was on the other side of the trees - if you ran into a heavy MG or a mounted GMG you'd be toast, as your speed would give you little time to react. Instead, slow down, and use that Track IR you've got to gather situational awareness - it's what they're best at. Other than that, good flying!

Nice piloting, I can pilot close to the skill level of you with mouse and keyboard, although in some instances it can be difficult to do so, 1500+ hours in Arma, and a lot of experiance in flying xD

Okay you are keeping the helicopter in the air great the only thing that you had to learn was the controls and how width the rotorblades are for the low altitude flying nothing special, i am not saying the flying is bad but you are far from being an amazing pilot.

This is prior to the physics being simulated. Back in vanilla, when the choppers handled differently.

Not badand I too love dyslexci's flying :) so what else were you using besides the trackerIR? keyboard / mouse? Joystick n keyboard, joystick and throttle? Rudder pedals? I have rudder pedals and i'm still trying to get used to using them. I am using keyboard and mouse but plan on getting the saitek x55 rhino. I'm using Freetrack... or did but its not that great no matter how much you tweak it, seems like trackerIR works much better and ill have that eventually as well. None the less, good flying good flying :D
