I obsess over old Multicade PCBs for some reason.
PCBs I have:
- 3 in 1 "Mini Game Center" (Does not boot, program ROM seemed to be wiped -- will need to find one)
- 4 in 1 "Play Zone"
- 9 in 1 "My Classics"
- 39 in 1 "Game Never Over"
- 48 in 1 "Happy Hours" (VER.309 variant with Piano Roll 3)
- 60 in 1 "iCade"
PCBs I'm still looking for:
- 4 in 1 "My Classics" (customized 4 in 1 pcb, FAR lower priority than the others)
- 6 in 1 "Fun Easy" (customized only, higher priority than the 4 in 1 custom)
- Original Arcadeshop PCB (Not related to these other PCBs, this one is closer to the ArcadeSD)
If you have any of these PCBs I'm looking for that happen to be in working condition and wish to sell them to me or you want to tip me off with information about or a listing for one of these multicade PCBs , please let me know.

Gameplay of Super Pac-Man on the 39 in 1 JAMMA PCB, on Set 1. Supposedly the speed of the game (likely Super Pac speed) is higher in one of the sets. I'm not really amazing at this game but I'm not terrible at it either. It's still a great underrated experimental sequel imo, even if Ms. Pac fits as a perfect "traditional" sequel to Pac-Man.

Could you do gameplay of Pengo, Galaga 3, Mr Do & 1943?
Never be game over
Such Soothing Music
I’ve been dying to see the pirated version of Bomb Jack
I got a 48 in 1 recently so I might as well do it. It's on there.
Alright, today I'm uploading it alongside Dig Dug 2. It'll be up hopefully soon.
Heard this at an arcade, and had to do some research to find this. I thought all of them were called Game Never Over, until I found the ICade on the bootleg wiki, and decided to flip through the menu themes.
funnily enough I think I was also at some campground place whenever I discovered these boards existed. I didn't know what the legality of these were or what flaws they had, I was just happy to play them in any spare time I had at that place.
Yeah, was super neat to see something like that personally.
we out here making trax
I used to have the same thing but mine said Play Zone v004. The games were Ms. Pacman, Galaga, Frogger, and Dig Dug. I now have a 60 in 1.
Can you do Gameplay with Bomb Jack, 1943, 1943 Kai, Millipede, Mappy, King & Balloon and Dig Dug 2 from 60 in 1 Multicade?
Is it possible to set the menu music to play during the attract mode?
I don't think so. Either way, I actually kinda prefer it only playing during the game select, because it can get monotonous after awhile if it just plays during the entire attract mode.
@@CosmicToons I remember seeing one of these machines, and I seem to recall the music playing during both the attract mode and the game select. I think this particular machine was a 39-in 1
@@gamertrotzki I'm pretty sure that was an early 48-in-1. By then they decided to make it so that the music plays all the time instead of just during the game select.
@@gamertrotzki Sorry, I was wrong. Apparently they _all_ let you set the music to play nonstop. The reason _this_ one only plays during the game select is because it's set to take credits. See, if the menu music is turned off, but the board's set to take credits, then it will _still_ play after you insert a credit. In Free Play mode, however, it's either non-stop menu music or no music at all.
Yes, but I think it's only possible on credit mode, free play it's only possible if game songs are on, but then the game's attract sounds will play
You think you can make a discord server for multicades?
Interesting idea. I might consider it honestly.
@@multicademaniacI left you a comment in your video

I never noticed how slightly off the ghost eyes going back into the house sounded
Yeah, while not the worst inaccuracy on these boards it's interesting to hear nonetheless, especially if you're conditioned to the original game
I find these boards to be a curious rabbit hole that few have really explored. It's kinda crazy how little we really know about their origin or creation
Same. That's why I got into documenting them in video form in the first place. The older you go with the boards, the LESS you know about 'em!

No way
I remember going to a laundromat and popping a coin in the Multi arcade machine and just hearing this jingle play as I started to load DIG-DUG. I'm glad I got to find this song again. It was a real banger.
I really like this song! Reminds me a lot of the CDi Tetris soundtrack.
How did you capture this footage, I would like to capture Super Pac-Man gameplay from my Arcadeshop programmable pcb, I need a vga converter. but how did you capture the vga? Also the audio to.
VGA splitter from the board, one end going to the monitor, other end going to a VGA to HDMI converter. Also connected to the VGA2HDMI is a 3.5mm aux splitter, one end going to the converter and the other going to my speakers. Then I can use basically any HDMI capture card on my board and it works well.
@@multicademaniac ok, cool, thanks!
I remember playing this at my local pizza place. The music brought back memories to the happy and simple times.
FUN FACT: Ms. Pac-Man's a comfort character of mine.
I couldn't help but notice that the initialization screen only went up to 38 instead of the full 39. Which game did you disable? Just curious.
Hustler. I'm willing to turn it on for a gameplay video (and I probably will just to be complete) but just in general among all of the games that are on the board that one is pretty mediocre compared to everything else. Even in terms of virtual pool/billiards games there are a decent selection of better picks than Hustler imo, but there are probably a decent amount of people who like it anyway which I understand.
Ms Pac-Man is my favorite game! So can you do Mappy gameplay next?
this may just be the worst possible way to play rally-x Hey can you do gameplay of Ms. Pac-Man?
Gotta agree, it's not great. It plays "okay' (as in playable but that's about it) but it's so awkward that the 19 in 1 would be a better bet if you want a Rally-X fix. Gameplay of Ms. Pac, I can do that.
I’m glad you made a sprite sheets, because I was going to make my own 60 in 1 called Jeovany’s Games because I’m going to replace 5 Games with Galaga and Pac-Man Speed Versions with Q*bert, Rally-X, Fix it Felix Jr, Pac & Pal and Motos
Can you do gameplay of New Rally-X from 39 in 1?
Got the gameplay uploaded. Here it is: th-cam.com/video/ioR2NAjKxdo/w-d-xo.html
@@multicademaniac thanks
nice finally getting some footage of this version!
i'm glad i'm not literally the only person on the planet who has thought about these things for more than 20 seconds
This is interesting to say the least. Probably not, but to me it’s different.
hi
lol i remember the different Ms. Pac-Man sounds
I think I don't hear the Multicade's music while I was in arcades.
Operators are able to turn off the music if they wish so that's likely what's going on with the ones you see.
