Forging a Battle Mace!
Shout out to our now 200 Subscribers! That's twice as many as last time we had a Subscriber special!
The biggest concern I have for this project is that the square tubing is a bit thin for the walls of the mace, but with the wedges and epoxy it seems to hold up alright.

Making a fine looking jacket entirely out of duck tape for 15$!
มุมมอง 317ปีที่แล้ว
I did not expect this jacket to turn out as great did and the fact that it's somewhat wearable. I was also attempting to make it a fairly cheap build, using black duck tape on the outside and the cheaper silver stuff on the inside, so it only took about 10-15$ worth of duck tape to make.

What happens if you super quench hot steel?
Cute.
completely unnecessary to pin the head down there harmless to humans rarely bite and if they do it from experience feels like a kid plucked you and that's cause they don't have teeth like vipers
Wondering if you just made the square cross (plus sign) first, then trimmed edges if needed, and then made the points at the end. Great inspiration for technique!
Love it
Cut a slit in the center of the pouch and fold edges out slightly.
I used to catch these all the time at my parents house. They can't bite hard, but they can skunk you. I had a long stick with a Y shaped tip that I wrapped lots of tape around to use as a catching tool to pin it down so I could grab it.
Awesome mace dude!
That's pretty cool dude!
Real good and kind of funny! Done at elf speed! Turned out great!
Nice work . I liked the first design more 👍
Noice
Railroad spikes are too soft for edged weapons. Even the hi carbon ones that are used in turns are only .3 carbon. You need minimum of .8 carbon content for an actual edged weapon. Nice wall hanger. Tons of smiths make these and Im not sure why. Leaf or coil springs will make a nice edged weapon. There carbon content is also low but with the addition of other alloys it makes a sharp and durable weapon that will actually hold an edge. Chopping a 2x4 in half is part of a bladesmith test, then it should still shave your arm. Simple test for edge retention.
Alot of smiths make railroad spike knives and daggers because people like them. Yes they are not high carbon but the will hold an edge and you can use a file to resharpen them also,
Railroad anchor, not a clip.
Wow! How much did it weigh? Make some pants to go with it!
Sweet swag
That’s really nice!

Thank you!
why relocate? They are beneficial...
I thoroughly agree, but... If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy...
@@notsoexpertexperts9639 I live in a forest and I relocate the ones around my home because there can be too many of them. I also don't want to step on them so I relocate them up the road a bit. I do not terminate them because I know that they are beneficial. Sometimes I find them sunning on the welcome mat. It makes for a great laugh. That is a very gentle way to catch them. Thanks for the video!
They can get into your house and be quite a nuisance right up near the house. I'd always catch these for my parents and release them into the field behind our yard. There were probably tons of rats and mice for them to eat there.
@@RedVRCC how are they a nuisance? They don't chew the foundation like Termites. They don't get into your food like rats, mice and ants. They aren't poisonous. In fact they might actually help you. I think it's just plain fear of snakes.
Hand forging is what you do best!
Why do you grow them?
Hahaha gold nugget. Great vid man:)
Man this was super cool. I’d love to make one of these.
perfect murder weapon.

That's cool!
Impressive!!!
Is indeed very creative idea with only a duct tape and a single tool, but let's talk about the accuracy

This could be the next plot to a movie... lost in woods golfer survives due to golf club working as an ax.
Total waste...
Let’s start chopping!
Ha! Thanks for the vid. I always wondered myself why golf clubs don’t chop wood better…. I’m content to know there’s a solution now.
