Not one judge understands the lyrics. To sum it up..."I wan to drink at the party until I can no longer feel, then jump to my death." Puddle's wasn't happy that you liked his rendition. He was sad that you didn't understand.

What actual talent do any of these hacks have

Do you people not know how these shows work? You go in for an “audition” 2-3 acts; if they put you on the show they tell you what order to perform them (2 to get you through and save your best for last)

Now, over six years after this performance, it's easy to see why they cut him. He's world famous and has stood the test of time with hundreds of millions of views on TH-cam. They knew he was a shoe in and would sweep the contest. No one could touch him on that show that year. His dark image wasn't something they could support, even when the rest of the planet found it amazing.

before he got big nationwide, he was a celebrity in Atlanta, and used to do big-band swing music stuff back in 1999/2000 when swing was big. He was just "Big Mike" Then he adopted the Puddles persona which is also awesome. He's going to be in Winston Salem NC in December, i'm getting tickets. will be great to see him again.

A friend took me to see Puddles' show in Evanston tonight at SPACE. I am completely blown away. It was one of the best shows I've ever been to and his voice is incredible. And he seems like a lovely person. He shook eveyrone's hand when he walked in and made himself available for selfies at the end. I want a world with more Puddles!
