Roland D-110 _ INTRASLOOP - Dark Structure (MIDI-MultiMode DemoTrack)
Another track (from my MIDI-MultiMode D-10/D-110 "Little Demo Tracks")
originally made with an Roland D-10, now played with the Roland D-110 Module.
Like my previous D-110 DemoTracks, nothing special here either:
recorded from D-110's Main(L/R) Stereo Out,
no multitracking, no additional effects etc.
Regular D-110's MIDI Multi-Mode only (Multi-Timbral Mode)
All sounds (incl. Drums) from the D-110
(self-programmed sounds used, "Factory Presets" were not used here)

Really great track! Fantastic D110 sounds too!
Thanks!
Üdv! Jó hallgatni amit a D110-ből kihoztál! Nekem is nagy kedvencem ez a széria. Szívesen hallgatok még demókat. Én is készítettem párat.
Thanks! (I'm currently in the process of building a new PC for my Midi stuff)
@@mskr_f0-f7audio72 That's great. I look forward to new works. He also inspires me to play music with him on weekends.
This is great. Very John Carpenter, Herb Alpert - Beyond Honestly, all this needs is a better mix. And this would slam hard.
Thanks!
Very well done. D110 at its best.
Thanks!
I like it and my D110😀
Cheers!
✊🏾🔥🔥🔥
Cheers!
Break out the D-110 and upload some more music.
Sometimes I also think I should upload something again to enrich the "world cultural heritage" again... ;)
@@mskr_f0-f7audio72Yeah, man, upload some more stuff. It's time! Halloween is coming.
I'll upload something again, but I think it might be a little less "darkish" this time, but I still have to get my "MIDI"PC working again (complete failure a few months ago... haven't had time to look into it yet...) @@dpalaoro
@mskr_f0-f7audio72 yeah that sucks, having to reconfigure stuff. But once u get going, it will be alls well.
Another good bread and butter track.
Cheers!
Nothing wrong with this track, just put some lyrics to it.
well...then I would have to add a 2nd audio layer and after that it would no longer be "MIDI-MultiMode" but "multitracked" and that in turn is forbidden under penalty! ... Haha ;) Cheers!
@@mskr_f0-f7audio72 Too bad the D-110 doesn't really have MIDI Modes. They call it 'Multi-Timbral play' in the manual. how did you get the Portamento sounds around 5:00? is it programmed in or does your sequencer have a way to send PBend slowly?
@@foreverseethe "MIDI Modes"...I'm not sure what you mean...(?)... The D-110 (just like the D-10/D-20 and the D-5) has MIDI-MultiMode ("Multi-Timbral Mode"): 8 MidiChannels + 9th MidiChannel for the DrumTrack This Portamento sequence was, as you hear it, recorded in the sequencer via MIDI-keyboard + pitch bend
@@foreverseethe regarding the "Midi Modes"...i think you mean these 2 "Main"operating/Midi-modes (known from the D-10, D-20, D-5): the "Performance" and the "Multi Timbral" -Mode ("Multi Timbral" = MIDI-MultiMode) ...so yes, at the D-110 they have "combined" these 2 Modes into one "operating" mode...to a kind of "extended MIDI-MultiMode"
@@mskr_f0-f7audio72haha so true
Felicitaciones!
Thanks!
Como logras esos sonidos! Mi d110 suena más parecido a un Medeli🤪
You probably mean some of the the D110`s "ROM sounds"... But remember that the D110 is a "programmable" synth; you have up to 4 oscillators/voice ("Partials") with numerous envelopes, filters etc. a lot is possible here... ;)
Hey we're still waiting for those D-110 tracks! Can you tell me how you are recording? What's your signal path? I ask because, unlike my D-110 tracks, there's very little noise.
Don't worry, your D-110 is no "noisier" than my D-110 (or all the other D-110s...) Sometimes it's more noticeable, other times less... (it also sometimes depends on the "Tones" used) The signal path was simple: D-110 to PC (with Audacity as recorder). Indeed, this track was a "bit noisy" (the 2nd Track less), so I've removed the noise a bit here with the Audacity's build-in "Noise profile-Denoiser"(but a "gentle" setting). It is best to use relatively high Midi-volumes cc007 (for the individual Multimode-parts), then the noise is less noticeable. (also in a mix, when the D110 is playing along with other synths, then the noise floor is not as noticeable)
Digging the patches. Cool composition ✌️
Thanks! I'll upload a few more D-110 tracks... I just have to find the time...
