Secrets Tulum does not have a beach as it is located about 20 to 30 minutes from their private beach area which includes drinks and snacks a few transportation.

We stayed at Dreams Palm beach Punta Cana which was the hotel next door that has now shut. Flora was just under construction. The sea was terrible, not clear at all. If you walk about 600yards to the left there is a nature reserve, the sea was pretty clear with hardly any people or seaweed on the beach. Hardly any waves and the current was not to strong. Hope this helps.
@David Thompson This depends on the time of the year you go. The summer months the ocean can be choppy here and collect some seaweed, but in the winter months, when I was just there, the water and the beach were beautiful.

Quick question. Does the curtain wrap around both sides of the shower? (To make it completely private). It seems if you walk to the hallway it would not be private. Great review!
You are correct not private at all when walking around shower

@@kingteddy6407 Not many hotels have a swim up on the beach, too risky for hurricane season. Live Aqua Punta Cana has wonderful suites with private pools where you walk out onto the beach! Let me know if I can send you a quote.

No, they do not. When I book my clients, I do include transfers. Please let me know if you need a quote.

Each building is separate, adult building and family building
No sun on those pools. Must be cold
To be honest this time of year you could be on either side and all the pools were cold or cool. The ocean swimming was much warmer.

It was just open 5 days when I was there, so yes occupancy was about 20%.
