It doesn’t make any sense to put that white livery in the late year
I know network rail encourages enthusiasts but recommends you report to station managef first, especially at peak times where he/she may suggest you come back at a quieter time. I dont know the rules for tfL , I'm not sure if it is as public as the mainline.
I had this off a security guard at Hull off all places when they didn't have ticket barriers up it was straight on the platform note go said it was like this for years recently they have new barriers up buy a platform ticket Which the new barriers do understand seek permission on platform job done just a pain getting another platform ticket when your first hour is up
I think this would be ok as a shot mate as long as you edited it down a bit. That man was annoying
Trains @Jonathan31
I never had this issue before, but asking permission to do trainspotting is ridiculous.
true transpottig can be done anywhere as long as its not breaking the rules
Bloody Jobsworth😡😡😡
What do you expect from a minimum-wage retard who thinks that by wearing a yellow Hi-Vi he has some kind of authority. He has all the authority and personality of a turd.
Lovely ❤
It only gets worse nowadays really
Looks brand new 🤠
What a camera for 2008
I wish the ELL was still part of the Underground 😢
I remember being a little kid and going to London, I was an age where all the other tube lines were painted apart from the D stock of the District line, and they always creeped me out a little (especially after all of the old graffiti marks). What I would give to just go back to those days and ride the tube just how I remember it again!
c stock creeped me out the most
@@stavrinity8341 why?
Was a rare sight indeed to see the C Stock on the Ealing Common end of the District and Piccadilly lines. Wonder why it was there? It usually did the Circle, Hammersmith & City and District line between Wimbledon and Edgware Road. It could operate all of the District line and could jump in to cover any section where needed.
I wish I was born in 1996 so I can ride them but I was born in 2005
tbh remember we hated them in childhood but now they're just missed
Fr
Thought it could not use the Jubilee line during normal service hours because of the ATO system controlling the line and the 1996 Stock was also working as well.
Oludotun John Showemimo this was well before ATO days
@@piccline thanks. So before the ATO, the TRC was free to use the Jubilee line no limits
Oludotun John Showemimo yes like any other non ato line
this was train 117, its a special training train that ran on certain sundays in autumn 2008 it ran BARKING (sidings) - PUTNEY BRIDGE PUTNEY BRIDGE-TRIANGLE SIDINGS TRIANGLE SIDINGS-EALING COMMON (via piccadilly fast lines) stable ealing common depot EALING COMMON-EALING BROADWAY EALING BROADWAY-BARKING (via piccadilly fast lines) in fact it was ment to be Ealing Broadway to Upminster but every time they ran it there was always engineering work from Barking to Upminster
This run didnt do most of that it did run to Putney Bridge but ran to Ruislip Siding then back to Acton Town then Northfields then on the piccadilly line from Acton to Barons Court via the Picc fast line. From memory one of the runs did make it to upminster.
I thought it was Ealing Common sidings when viewing from the platform lol
Woah
this video has an exsample why i dont film trains on platforms.
Bloody well good job of standing up for yourself mate!!
Think I heard a bit of Westinghouse !
my grandad drove one of these, when he retired he told my dad they were one of the most unsafe trains ever, like driving a death trap, but the bosses would not have it....
Amazing! I remember these as wee boy!! She is well cared for!
Rare to see C Stock at Acton Town
Sublime.
BEAUTIFUL X
heading back to Ruislip no doubt
they use them on the isle of wight railway !
This is brilliant! wish i knew about some of these moves
Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
:o)
Ooops - I meant arsehole!!
What an arshole.
The Trains Deicing Equ was switched on
Why is there a.blue light.on a carrsge?
What did the paper at the front say + will it just be repainted
great catch apart from jobsworths
The driver should inform passengers of a sudden stop before tripping, the after the reset, talk to the passengers and assure them that it all went smoothly. The train op would have to seek authority to trip past a home signal as its a semi-auto, if i remember correctly the one he's tripping past is the inner home, that's why there are hi-vi's near the signal and a second person in the cab.
@goodchappy , that would be the collector shoes that pick up the traction current from the live rails, to ensure a smooth transition from one live rail to another and at pointwork, you have what is called a ramp end that ensures the pick up shoes leave one live rail section to another, often with this transition you get an arc draw up usually, slower speeds give more of an arc, the smoke is from the arc made by the shoe of the train leaving the ramp end of the juice rail,
you don't see footage of a train being " tripped " pass a signal, so nice capture !, better its an A stock unit !!
@gregglesAFC Metropoiltan Railway Loco Number 12 Sarah Siddons
Bloody jobsworths! What loco is that?
Metropolitan line growler number 12 Sarah Siddons.
@hakc97isback This was the Last Public Run of a Unrefrubished D78
Had that happen to me on the subway a few times here in NY. was riding on one of the museum trains once when the emergency brakes went on so hard, we were throw off our feet. I nearly went through a window... Heck, Even happened to me on my way to my college graduation. Spent a good 15 mintues at the bottom of the East River tunnel
Wow. I remember travelling in one of those kinds of carriages back in the 70's as a kid! Thanks for sharing :)
@piccline Yeah, but it slows everything down too much.
@DeanieBoi07 Its better to keep the trains running while a easy signal failure can be past at Danger
