The official TH-cam channel for my music! My aim is to create music that people love as much as I do. I want to create content and music that helps people and is relatable to them and whatever it is they are going through. My goal is to inspire and help people through my passion for this subject. The songs I create are deeply personal and special to me and I hope to be able to give that to others, to provide people with music that strongly resonates with them, as individuals. Rehearsal video 73: "Until it Ends" - Original composition (vlog)
Today, I worked on implementing people's suggestions into the song further. I added a simple, minimalistic vocal line to the chorus, which I think will take some getting used to, as I play it in accompaniment to the fingerstyle-type component of the song. I'm not sure on it right now, and I may get rid of it in the future but it sort of works in the song - I think it will just need a moment to get realise fully into the piece. (I just added "Until it Ends... we're all just waiting until it ends" layered on top of the chorus section) I think it had the potential to sound good, but I am struggling a little right now to implement it, as I don't have much fingerstyle experience. I also tried adding emphasis on the first strum if each chord, which sounds a lot better, in my opinion and was a good suggestion, as it helps the song to feel less monotone and dry, through varying dynamics. Overall, it was a productive rehearsal and I think I made some quite valuable progress. I also realised I need to project more, which is something I will work on across the next few days. Next time, I will work more on making the suggested improvements fit into the song, to get it as ready as it can be for interim recording 2.

Today, I worked on my original song for component 2. I worked on layering the vocals on to the song in order to prepare me for my interim recording of it soon. Alfie !!!! Very fire y me gusta mucho but I would try messing with the tempo ! A lot of ur songs are kinda the same tempo so messing with it throughout the song may be funnnn (yes I am watching this at like midnight )
@VeeYavaca yeah, thanks for the advice! I'm trying to go for quite a sad /grungey sort of tone for this song, so I think the tempo works okay for it. But I get what you mean by it being the same as other songs in that regard- I'll try increasing tempo in a future song maybe (I can't really slow it down much, it's already pretty slow) Also, why u watching at midnight? I think this is very catchy as verses. It looks like you're going from a to f# to f.... maybe you would work on a chorus going back the other way.
Yeah, so for chords it's G, F#m, A#, A#m. The instrumental bits I do try to serve as a chorus for this song, because I couldn't get anything to work well with lyrics. But I like your idea, I'll definitely try to implement what you suggested. Thank you for the feedback!
So G is the first chord of the chorus.... Ok i see you're doing my suggestion anyway. Well now it would be interesting to hear what kind of voice part you add to this.Play the chords straight and add something because it's really a good tune. I am actually working on more songs at the moment, which I am going to get properly recorded for better audio quality. I'll be releasing them in an upcoming EP.
