One day someone will be original, except unlike the few originals maybe one will get noticed from what remains of the pm 606 fan game community, I’m just saying that the pm 606 fan game community isn’t piles of sand, I’d say it’s a very flat plain of dry soil. That’s just my way of putting things, I have loved the fan game community despite not being skilled enough two years ago to pass the first cluster of multiverse I still enjoyed watching those who were skilled enough. All in all I know there could be a wave of good fan games, and all the unoriginal deadly scary peril games will die out. Also I saw a comment about it but I think chase games aren’t that bad if done rightfully, and by that I mean original and not loud loud memorize this maze or die. I feel like if people would add actual skill requirements for them they would be good. I will remain in this community, even far past its death, and if I’m lucky see another rise. Anyway yea fan game badddd unoriginal slop 😔💀💀

Creator of PM 6:06 Boss Fight Edition/PM 6:06 Puzzle Edition/PM 6:06 Obby Edition/PM 6:06 Obby Edition 2 here. Surprised IB3er and Crimsonoon had taken notice of this video too. I think I started the "Edition" naming trend. I left because I lost interest in PM 6:06 and I realized only easy difficulty slop games got popular. I remember when PM 6:06 was new and very surreal. It had a really cool ambient and feel to it. The community was small and there were no fangames at the time of December 2020. Sublevel 10 had no healing and little to no one has passed sublevel 10. The code to sublevel 11 was not found yet at this time. I remember trying to figure out how to beat sublevel 13 with Crimsonoon and others. A while after public kits started to come out, Slashed started 100 sublevel project while I started Boss Fight, Obby and Obby 2, and Puzzle edition. Creativity was quite high at this time not counting the fangames that were just the creators testing out the kit. Chaotic tony made a incredible fangame while sacrifice's smile trials++ was insane. This was the golden era of PM 6:06 fangames. I think everyone here knows what happens next.

i agree, im making a fan game rn (as a passion project) and i scripted my own chasing walls because i dont wanna use some trash chasing wall free model 😭 (also I made a wall that reverses back to its original position when it gets to the end position and then it can be reactivated, is it a cool idea or nah because im pretty sure nobody has done something like that)

pm 6:06:06.606 unironically caused the downfall of pm 6:06 while i think pm 6:06 is a long dead genre i cannot deny the fact that it was basically the catalyst for what i now consider the "slop era" of pm fangames pm 6:06:06.606 being creative lead to everybody trying to copy it's formula, thus making what at the time was a unique and interesting take on a stale genre into completely uninspired fangames, to the point that many of them just blend together, you could stitch together clips of each and wouldnt question if they were from the same game or not i do want to make a counter point here though, while i personally am a big fan of multiverse, on an objective scale its just as bad as the rest, in some places even more so the game has many unindicated fake walls (which is probably the biggest sin in pm fanmades) horribly designed perils and overall just bad game design, even for pm 6:06 standards. all multiverse has going for it is a unique feel and charm to it, it carries the game, but objectively comparing multiverse to that of pm 6:06:06.606 i think pm 6:06:06.606 is better as it tries to make the game more fair towards most players (excluding the horrible optimization on the boss levels). not to mention multiverse has also inspired fangames many people consider to be bad aswell, pm 6:06:06.606 has become the mainstream inspiration, but alot of bad modern games are also inspired by base pm 6:06 (which lets face it, isnt good) and multiverse (which i have just stated isnt good). pm 6:06:06.606 isnt a good game either, but i think when it comes to the pm 6:06 genre its the best you can get if you are counting the game itself, not the influence it has had on pm 6:06 games also a side note: i didnt cancel the game because of the lack of attention on it, quite the contrary. it cancelled the game because it was negatively affecting my mental health, the pm 6:06:06.606 fanmades did nothing to hurt me or the game at all.

I agree A LOT with this video like I worked hard on my fanmade aka PM -6:06 but these games just took over like 6:06 PM, Pm 6:06 Easy Edition, and like those dumb chase ones before it got to like 30000 visits or less and also someone stole my game called Build Your Own PM 6:06 Level and 2 and want to know who? It was Adriano. Thats all I'm talking about right now there's more but some I can't talk about sadly like the Chako incident and it took away my motivation for making my fanmade.

Multiverse ripoffs 2. 6:06 PM chases 3. free kit games with 200 sublevels named after "PM 6:06 _ edition" or "PM 6:06 the _" (Same category as multiverse ripoffs) 4. Basic fangames 5. Actual games 6. Dead fangames conclusion: Don't play PM 6:06/ Fangames all of them suck and it's a waste of time imagine playing a maze with winning smiles frfr!!1

I will be honest with this one: 60% of all fangames are bad. I am annoyed with seeing more bad fangames being on top, while me trying to make something good so it would be enjoyable. I would probably quit my fangame, but i just make it for myself now.

Yeah fangames just don't be original nowadays, games that don't deserve getting popular (easy edition) got it because yes, and this is the mess of fangames we got, this was going downhill ever since Multiverse got popular, i miss when fangames tried to make the sublevels actually interesting instead of once in a while, like remember PM- 80:08 _AM? That one had some interesting sublevels, quantity over quality is a huge issue with PM 6:06 fangames nowadays, however i'm still interested in pm 6:06 because of gem 6:06 and some other fangames like Random 6:06 Sublevels (that fangame actually tries making interesting sublevels that look good).

being honest asf if im making a game similarto the long name 606 game (yes im not bothered to write it) i atleast just create my own walls and script my own doors instead of just straight up using a kit and just using the stuff from it, like if your gonna make a game similar to the long name game, just like atleast make your own walls and doors so it has some actually UNIQUENESS to it 🙏🙏 and yes i did actually make a fangame and i did do what i did say but i lost interest in pm 6:06 like right after the release of the game

A lot of your points are quite good(ESPECIALLY YOUR OPINION ON THE OVERUSED AND LOUD PERILS AND CHASES), but i wouldn't tell people to stop working on their fangames. yes, some of them are bad, but for some, they are passion projects.

The majority uses free model to make PM 6:06 Fangames cuz dont even know to use studio or script !free models is unfun!

As true as this video is, I enjoy certain fangames that come up with decent ideas and an actual epic lore to follow. while some are very good, others just recreate those ideas but worse. I am also working on a pm606 fangame but mainly for fun, and to acknowledge the good fangame such as GEM606, Smiling Complex, PM 6:06:06.606 (maybe overrated but was extremely fun while it lasted), and of course the OGs. so this is a basic 50/50 opinion which while I agree on, I also have my own reasons to keep developing.
