Island ECC
Hong Kong
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 4 เม.ย. 2015
Island ECC is a dynamic, English-speaking church in Hong Kong. Our hope is to see the life-giving light of Jesus Christ reach every corner and every heart in this city and beyond.
Where does the Love Offering go to? (EP — Bangladesh)
Where does your Love Offering giving go to? Earlier this year, we went to Bangladesh to visit one of our Love Offering projects at a small, local church. While there, we met Joseph and Marylal, a couple that generously serves their church despite the social and financial challenges that they are met with.
As we celebrate the spirit of the Christmas holiday, we invite you to contribute to this gift throughout December.

The Love Offering is a sacrificial gift in the spirit of the holiday that is over and above our general giving. It supports new & extraordinary projects around the world that revolve around 4 areas of impact - Justice & Mercy, Disciple & Equip, Persecuted & Unreached and Connect Creatively. It also gives provision for our church to quickly respond to natural disasters and/or humanitarian crisis as they happen throughout the year.

Great sermon!
Thank our Gracious.God
The sermon was very helpful. Thank you. I just want to point out that God's love for us is unconditional. God will not love us more if we pray more, but I think it will help us love God more. I'm sure Pastor Tim didn't mean to say that Jesus will love us more if we pray more, but the way he ended the sermon with Gardner's interview made it sound that way. PTL for His unconditional love for us!
Thank you for your comment! I appreciate you pointing that out and making sure that was clear. You’re right, it wasn’t my intention to say that Jesus loves us more if we pray more...He’s already loved us all unconditionally! I was reading Chris’ quote and I think then “joke” of the quote didn’t quite come through. I believe Chris’ point in the quote is that he feels close to God because he talks to him every day. That was really what was trying to get across. The idea of “pursuing” God and the things Paul mentions is a daily endeavor. Thanks again for keeping an eye on this!
I have appreciated finding you these past months and look forward to following you. God is good
very beautiful Jesus and his sons/daughters

We needs to wear mask and gloves to protect this pandemic.
Thank you pastor Brett! Very inspiring message :)
West Highlands church
Stay strong church! Let's not underestimate our own weaknesses. Holy spirit help us not be spiritually distant, especially in a time like this, in Jesus name, amen.
I think we should emphasize the importance of wearing masks where you will meet other people (strangers) and in crowded areas, not just wear when you are ill or sick, because you don't know if you will meet a "silent carrier" (someone with no symptoms but already caught the virus) who can infect you, and you don't want to infect others either.
