Sprained Thumb Taping
Sprained thumb is very common in netball, usually caused by the thumb bending too far backward when catching a hard pass. Use this taping technique to protect it from further injury by restraining the range of movement.

Foot Bump Lacing Method
For those with a foot bump on top of their feet, the regular criss cross lacing method may cause pain and numbness due to the direct pressure applied on it. Try this lacing method to skip over the area of the bump instead.
Wide Feet Lacing Method
Netballers with wider feet should try this parallel shoe lacing method. The laces are evenly distributed, providing extra room and added comfort!
Black Toe Nail Lacing Method
The stop-change movement in netball often causes our toes to strike against the front of the shoe, resulting in the big toenail turning black or sore. Protect your big toes by lifting the toe cap with this simple lacing method.
Lock Lace Shoelacing Method
Increase your ankle support and prevent heel slippage with the heel lock lacing method. The extra step just before tying your laces keeps the ankle and heel area nice and snug, which also helps prevent painful blisters and black toes.
Secure Shoelace Tying Method
Do your shoelaces come off in the middle of a game or training? Here's an easy fix! Over the past two months, we tried and tested several shoelace tying methods and found this the most effective in keeping our laces in place! Many of you should find this method quite familiar, the key difference is the double loop in step 3.

Thank you. I can feel the difference and it feels wonderful. Thank you for this tutorial. I have wide shoes but the lace pattern that they were out the box just felt too constricting compared to the rest of the shoe. Thank you again.

My feet are square, just like Fred Flintstone. I am a woman with size 6EEEE feet. This lacing method is just okay, not perfect for me. And I have only 5 lace holes in the shoes i"m trying to adjust. I'm still walking out at the heels. Feet like mine need shoes made on a combination last - try to find such a creature in my size! (I despise shoes!!!!!)

I noticed the eyelet through the tounge wasnt laced. Will it negatively effect the lacing if I do the same method but through the tongue? One way to find out.

Really helpful video. God bless you man. But can someone tell me to use the runner's loop with this method. My shoes don't have that extra loop like those in the video. Previously I could use the runner's loop. This is much more comfortable but feels a bit loose without the loop.

@@sweetiethepig5599 it ain't good you are not immobilising the thumb neither helping it with support. This bad video you will only hurt yourself more because when immobilising the wrist you lose a point of force/tension release and all that force goes to the thumb
