Thanks for the knowledge 🙏🏾
❤ Awesome
Please, no more 2-5-1 makes "jazzy" just sound cliché
Subbed 🔥
I just play by ear for my own amusement. Almost never for others. I can fake many tunes well enough that they can be recognized, but the sound is only so-so. I wish someone would show me an easy way to add dept and texture to my playing without using terms like "diminished 7ths" and such. I have no clue what those technical terms mean. Not trying for the concert stage. Just want to sound a little better. (I love piano and wish my parents had made me take lessons from early childhood. Then, maybe, I would understand that deep stuff.
1 min 53 seconds…. B minor not Bb minor as shown in the graphic.
Could you make some videos about practicing scales I'm a beginning
Sure, I can definitely put something together to help you!
Love these lessons 🎉
Much Appreciated!
Very entertaining lesson. Thank you.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!
@TheDigitalPianoAcademy One of these days I hope i learn to play a good as one of your hands.
👀 🎹
Not to be pedantic, but spell check is a thing, otherwise good information.
Thanks, yes sometimes I miss over some words, but much appreciated comment!
Hi, I love your videos but maybe you should speak louder (your voice in too low). Thanks for all and I Wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Thank you for that comment! Will be looking into how I can make each video better than the last, appreciate your comment!
Smoke show!
Thank you!
Halfway through and no instruction on actually playing a 2-5-1??
It's there, just keep watching :)
Nice
Thank you!
You are great at sharing your knowledge about playing the piano.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it, Part 2 of Alt Chords coming this Sunday!
@TheDigitalPianoAcademy You are welcome.
If D is your 9 then it’s a sharp 9 and not a flat 9….. kindly let me know if I’m miss by something…
The only one she got right was the last example: on G7 Ab is your flat 9 and Eb/D# is your flat 13.😅 *She makes the corrections in the caption edit
@@dkant4511 I hope she reshoots this... That's worth correcting IMO.
In the chord progression of C major, D is the (ii) of the ii-V-I and therefore none of these pitches change. I think you mean when I play the Alt Chord on the G7, I made a correction because I actually play G7b13. When I said out loud it was flat 9... and put my correction in the video... hopefully that makes sense and we are on the same page :)
Thank you! I was hoping it wasn't too complicated to put the corrections in but I am happy you were able to see it :)
I will definitely follow up with another video like this ! Thank you :)
Thanks for this! What are some of the things you're considering when choosing between the different variations of alt chords? Outside of the altered note being in the melody, I've never really understood when to use one type of alt chord versus another.
Alt Chords Part 2 is coming this Sunday, where I show you the different variations (beginner/intermediate) ways to use Alt chords, hopefully that will help. You can use Alt chords whenever you want to change your chord progression and sound a little "extra" you hear Alt chords a lot in jazz, Bossa nova, Latin and Gospel Music.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
beautiful
