Strawberry Kokanee Fishing
Took my buddy Greg out on Strawberry to catch some kokes. We would've had our limits but Greg decided to knock my best fish off. HAHAHA!

Day 2 at Anderson Ranch was phenomenal. We found the spot and kept catching over and over again. What a beautiful area and reservoir to fish. Definitely be back again.

This is a trip with Kevin of Nebo Fishing Company to Soldier Creek. Didn't have a ton of success but caught a few nice kokanee. Then Alicia went up the next day and found the same success.

Day 1 of our latest trip to Flaming Gorge. Caught a limit of kokanee using our mama hog fishing rods and Nebo Fishing Co tackle. Had a great day on the water catching these beautiful fish.

Another amazing trip up to Flaming Gorge. We finally got into a somewhat consistent bite and caught some nice Kokanee. Even had a good double up. Again we we using our new @mamahogfishingrods8237 kokanee rods.

Jesse and I went up to Soldier Creek looking for those delicious silver bullets. Took us a few to find them but once we did woo wee!! Had a nice double and a killer follow on a caught fish that was pretty freakin awesome.

Mama Hog Fishing Rods and @knottyhookrfishing9424 day 2 highlights of our Pyramid Lake trip. We caught a bunch of nice fish and had 4-5 doubles. It was a beautiful day and the fishing was terrific.

Day 1 of our trip to Pyramid Lake, NV. We wound up catching 7 beautiful Lahontan Cutthroat trout trolling with the Mama Hog Rods. Aaron caught the biggest going 28in and just under 10lbs.

What section of the lake did you find most productive?
This was our first time there. We fished in the Curlew area and that inlet there google map says Casey Creek.

When was this filmed? We fished there during the tournament July 13, and most boats were only getting lots of small 8-11” kokes. There seemed to be more bigger fish earlier this year.
@@johngrim688 We were up there the middle of June. It takes me forever to edit and produce videos. Haha!

We like to try new spots for Kokanee. We enjoyed the heck out of Anderson Ranch.
Just got back from the Big Pond and the Nebo Fishing Co. Mighty Minnow was my go to! Are you seeing any Kokes on the Strawberry Side yet?
Yes but they seem to be spread out a bit. Not marking many schools. If I get one I'll go through a couple times if no more I move on.

Is the Buckboard ramp and campground a good part of Flaming Gorge for Kokanee fishing?
Yes it is. We usually up there later in the season. That's where our biggest Kokanee are usually caught.

Memories! I fished Flaming George in the mid nineties with a friend who live in Wyoming. We trolled for Kokanee and caught the largest I've ever caught. The were just a little smaller than the Sockeye Salmon caught in Alaska. A great memory. It was fun watching he two of you catch those beautiful fish.

What lures do you recommend?
I like to use big flat fish. But more important in my opinion is putting your lure in the right place. You gotta put it right on the bottom. Good luck!
