Metal band miming to playback... wtf, i just lost all respect for Edguy

Interesting that even the composer said (in an interview) that Night 13 could mean many different things, depending on who is listening. When I first heard this song, I thought the lyric was "The *crowning* (not "calming") mother's call", meaning that the soul recently freed by death was being beckoned to its new body and life by the mother in labor. To me, the song is about reincarnation, rebirth, a new beginning. Such an incredibly powerful, beautiful song.

The lyrics remind of me of a younger self, now lost to the harsh realtoes of life....a hopeful version of me that once wanted many things.....but perhaps that life once lived is now understood, perhaps now i can go back to it.....Such a deep and multi-faceted song, love it, the melody is great too
