I loved that walk,at 2:20 in, you walked past my birthplace at 27 Wellington road... where's it all gone... the Midland pub where Mam used to work is still there though and the Magnet where I spent Coronation Day 1953!

This video was taken a year ago & due to the pandemic all the shops have had to close & no-one has been in town very depressing I do so hope it's picked up since then there's normally lots of entertainment near the station in the summer.

There used to be a martial arts shop right near the Archers called Sabre Sports back in the day i wonder who remembers that.

so many memories and so much has changed thanks for this video about the only thing i remember from back in the mid 80s is Atkinson and the crucible, all else seems new. Oh and no trams then.

Sheffield is like a very very small version London or I'm I wrong without the TFL system. But it has caught my interest a lot though as someone who hasn't been there yet, I'm going there in the near future to visit my girlfriend (she's from Sheffield) and I'm from London.

A realistic walk, no up beat music or sunny weather. Which l found more informative

I'm living in London now and I'm on the verge of dying ..but that place just before the bridge and where there was a beautiful willow tree is where I want my ashes dumped at. I lived more minutes and hours at that spot than.......

Excellent presentation. It shows both the old and the vibrant new of Sheffield as well as the good and the bad. Thankfully much of the regeneration has been done sympathetically, grateful thanks to Sheffield City Council for that and all the other improvements they oversee. From a personal perspective there seems to be a lack of diversity in the shops with far too many junk food shops. It was heart-warming to hear some older pedestrians speaking "Old Sheffield", the must, like me, have been dee-dahs. Thanks for posting.

Just before covid came to the u k I got my TH-cam channel blocked for simply saying imagine if they locked down a city here the abuse I received oh your wierd it will never happen here blah blah it happened far far worse than a city. Liverpool will always be Liverpool my home but we have to adapt
