Why is it only the Landcruiser stays on the trail.
That's my prado!
Small world! Hope you're enjoying it. We drove it all the way across Australia
@@allterraintrails Just got it over the pits and registered under WA plates. It was my dad's gift to me after finishing high school. Looking forward to taking it camping! I love it!
He's just a chill guy
😂
Hi , I’m wondering do you know how to import a classic car from Australia to Canada. Or do you have any recommendations for car importer? Appreciate that!
Yes, I do know how to do this. Send me an email for any questions you may have. johannesasteudel@gmail.com
Definitely one of Ronny’s top builds
Would have been nice if you didn't had such load music in the background. Makes it difficult to get what you are saying.

6. Sell it with <200,000km for a quick sell and good resell value
wtf is that hideous snorkel
Pretty sick bro
Why so inexpensive compared to eberspacher or webasto? Burner looks very similar to them but it's a fraction of the cost.
@@gorporpio the smaller details and materials are not as refined compared to some of the more expensive heaters resulting in a lower price. But the actual hearter core is the same
Most of the hate things are related to yourself than a fail of design of the vehicle. The love vs hate comparison is not objetive themselves, because most of the love features were actually design/manufacture relate. I own a 1986 BJ75 and I agree with many of the real things like how noisy is inside the cab or the harsh drive because of the basic suspension system.
The things I don’t like about the vehicle are purely based on my own thoughts, feelings and opinions.. and I still don’t like them
That’s clean
1st comment & 1st view that’s definitely a 1st 😂😂.. Looks awesome there I have family in Perth some in Rockingham area & some a bit more in the sticks..
79 bro. 75 was leaf sprung 79 also has a longer cab...... check the b pillars
@@danielthornton3277 I was a bit confused on this because it looks like a 75 Ute, but it’s on coils up front and has an FTE. So wouldn’t it be a 78?
78 is the coil front troopy 79 is the coil front ute. 75 ute and 75 troopy leaf sprung front and rear. Hdj79 fte Hzj79 1hz Vdj79 1vd Gdj79 1gd Fzj79 1fz @@allterraintrails
@allterraintrails sorry, yes 79
Also has coil rear, but I highly doubt that's standard lol
@danielthornton3277 not standard on the hdj79. People use aftermarket kits or unstitch the rear coil components from a 105 series rear.
Portal axle ruined by a truss. Just buy an old unimog, they built it right.
So it's basically an M-998 humvee with a nice stereo and a set of keys.
I suppose you could say 🤔😄
Bottom ball joint has a habit of breaking around the 300k mark. Seen it twice.
Yo that looks nice 👍
This is what i hope i will be doing with my life later on

Okay chat, now this is epic.
Check out “lake speed jr” and his evidence base research into oil additives, that stuff really does make your oil worse. I know it feels good to use it but it’s marketing bs I promise. (I know lots of comments are about the same thing, but this guy has the receipts to back it up)
1 year review. It is great! Buy one! I run mine inside a very small space under a cupboard in my bus. The exhaust pipe, and the intake are mounted outside to a metal panel. The exhaust pipe gets warmer than the heat coming out of the heat exchanger sadly , but that is a topic for another day. Yes, use a radiator, or 2 inline to recoup lost heat!..... I use a simple 18$ power converter ac to dc, to charge the 200ah battery it runs from. The thermostat in these heaters is in the LED screen so Im told, the little hole under the panel. That's why I mounted it in the room to be heated. It pops off and has about 1foot of lead. So mine on the lowest heat setting, will never shut off. I had a lengthy back and forth with Vevor about this and they sent me a free unit. Not sure if the new unit does the same, but I can tell you the original unit does have an overheat and a low fuel automatic shut off. And a cool down cycle. I dont mind the cheap Chinese parts such as hangers, screws, etc. I rather they cut costs on those, and not the bones of the unit.
Sick gave the chills a bit
Useful and honest review, thanks. Sort of considering buying one, but the upfront cost is a big negative now! Can you elaborate a bit on what went wrong when you had your breakdowns, would be useful to know, regards from NB
I lost my ferrari doing that
WD?
@allterraintrails yes
Use an EV
Alright. I got here just in time before people get mad about your obvious rage bait. I am ready for some cinema to unfold.
😂
Ask whistlin diesel about that
Uhhhhh WTF... that looks disgusting 😂
Toyotas are bullet proof when its comes to reliability and longevity. Just do regular maintainance and ride into the f****** sunset with them 😊
Truth!
I know you are visiting for a fairly short trip, but very few people use gasoline engines for overland trips in Australia for reasons you have no doubt found out.
If you actually bought oil with a decent additive package already pre-mixed inside of it, like Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, you wouldnt have to resort to third-party crap that just adds to the cost of your oil change, and contains mystery components likely barely helping performance, or cleaning, at all..
@@nikkolaus there are limited options when buying 15w40 oil in Canada. Penzoil for example does not make that weight of oil in their platinum lineup. I do the best I can when maintaining this cruiser and work with what I have. In my experience, marvel mystery oil helps clean up engine sludge and prevents it from occurring in the first place.

Sacrificial Skidplate, doing its job !
Thankfully yes!
Where’s this?
Land Cruiser Heritage Museum SLC
Boy that hill down to the ghost river sure looks a lot flatter on camera!!
Definitely steeper in person! Hard to get up when it’s icy!
The only thing you're doing with that marvel is ruining the viscosity and lubricity of the oil
I’ve used it for a few years on multiple engines and found it helps a lot with breaking down sludge build up in diesel engines and preventing it from happening.
@allterraintrails running a higher quality oil will do the same thing without diluting the additive package. I'd highly recommend watching The Motor Oil Geek's video on oil and fuel additives
@@mabolzichjjl Also, Project Farm has a showdown comparison, and tier chart which breaks down each oil and the properties, and advantages
Great looking Land Cruiser. Do you have a place in Calgary that carries the diesel oil and fuel filters?
You can buy the filter right from the dealer and the oil at any auto store
@ thanks! Wasn’t sure if the dealers carried the filters for the diesel engines.
pro-active automotive also stocks them, as well as a bunch of other Toyota diesel parts. Just bought some glow plugs from them for my KZN130

Why get one from Australia and not Dubai being LHD ?
We knew someone in Australia who could help us purchase and export the vehicle from Aus to Canada. We don’t know anyone in Dubai
