Cool quiz, while I wouldn't call me a die hard thrash metal fan I see myself in the more extreme corners of metal (black/death/thrash). I got a lot of the questions right fortunately, but not all of 'em. Phew!

It's only when you listen to it that you realize that 90s production had really taken a step forward compared to the 80s.

Well done? Why show a pic off Cannibal Corpse when talking about Mordred....Also stating that the are from -94. I remember them from back in -88 so someone didn't do their homework.

Titan trio is Sodom, Slayer and.....Megadeth (now time) or Metallica (young time). Yes, Death angel (drummer was 14 years for debute but i like '90 Act lll) and Testament, even Anthrax 85,87, SOD 85, MOD and Carnivore 87 !!!! have very good albums, i heard them in Kiev in 1985-1995 and it was perfect (instead ugly communist music ussr propaganda) !!! Plus Overkill '87 Taking over, '88 Under.., Living dead '89 Wolds neuroses, Testanent '88 A new order, Agent steel '86 Unstoppable force, Brujeria '95 Raza Odiada abd etc

Well done, short but informative!

My introduction to thrash was back in '83 my freshman year h.s. The bay area thrash scene was very elitist. I remember in 1984 when RTL was released, Metallica were already being called sellouts for signing with Elektra.

Our band opened for lazz rocket in Denver in the early 90's, those guy's were a bunch of d bags.

Everything starts and then grows old. He may die or he may remain alive, but the life of an old man who has outlived himself. Whoever wants to give away the vitality of thrash in this era must do what RnB did with rhythm and blues. He kept the original as it is, but renewed the audio tools, making the old more new, more technological, more fast, more elegant, more precise.
