I remember when dad took me out to the farm to have a look at it . We didn't live far away from the Morgan's.

When we were farming in the MBL district in Western Australia we had a Countryman 6, 306, and a 9G. 2 18 disc Chamberlain ploughs and a 20 tyne Chamberlain scarifier. Cousins had tandem 306's.

I think tandem hitch is a pretty standard name whether it be pedrick or doe.

Worked on the countryman 354 when I came home from school in the 70''s did over a 1000 hours a year diving them we had 2 on our mallee farm. I believe that is why I need hearing aids today, but we traded up to 866 inter's which where even worse before the American cabs came along in the John Deeres

I have a 1949 212 and can't find tires for it. What did you use for tires on yours? Mine are size 10-24.

I have just bought a near identical 212 grader. Mine doesn't have the added hydraulic pump and power assist on the steering though. I'm going to have to see if I can track down the parts and do a retrofit on mine. Will make it a lot easier to run! Great project and thank you for sharing! I hope I can make my old girl look as good.

That tractor with the canvas roof my have been owned by st George county council and used in St George area of Sydney they did some work at sydney airport because it was muddy and crane's could not go there I saw one tractor when I was a kid I would have liked too see one in action putting poles in

Great to see one restored. I have one, (an old 212) which I still use on hire. Graders are very scarce in Ireland these days, especially small ones. Operators are practically non existent. So I can still get lots of work for it. We fitted a perkins 6cyl engine to it, and power steering, so now it has direct electric start, and doesn't pull your arms out of their sockets, when the front wheel hits a rock, or rut. keep up the good work.

Thankyou so much for showing your tractor ,it brings back memories as a kid when my father worked for the shire council in my hometown of yarrawonga .They had three 9g tractors 2 were used on the road gang pulling 10 ton rollers and the other was their main front-end loader .There was times where one of the drivers would invite me out for the day I loved it just sitting there listening to these old girls doing their thing ,thanks for the memories and post some more on your project cheers tony

Yep...I know how you feel mate...the c100 was the flash cockies tractor...the dual rears and wide steer tyres gave them a beautiful stance...we had the 354 countryman with duals....just purchased a c670 with the idea of restoring...1st up is fit power assist steering if I can find a unit
