Cartoon E2 Hawkeye RC Plane
The Cartoon E2 Hawkeye RC aircraft features a color scheme inspired by the U.S. Navy's VAW-125 group. This RC plane is entirely scratch-built. Needing advanced know-how to construct but simple to fly, it is an excellent choice for beginners in RC planes. The primary material used for this project is the Adams Readi-Board foam board, which can be found at Dollar Tree stores. Additionally, basswood boards and plastic styrene tubes serve as structural reinforcements.

TAMIYA Mini 4WD FM-A Mach Frame. Box Stock Unbox Stop-Motion Build
มุมมอง 4823 หลายเดือนก่อน
I was really into building and racing the Tamiya Mini 4WD during the hobby's end period of the "Second Boom" around the 2000s. I used to maintain four racers with different chassis and regularly participated in community competitions. After over 20 years, I decided to revisit this hobby and do a simple out-of-the-box build of the toy, featuring the Mach Frame FM-A Chassis Rev Series. Tamiya Min...

Finally, I got a chance to try a simple LED RC afterburner using ATtiny85, two LEDs, and resistors on a breadboard. I reference this build from Hans Meijdam's "Poor Man's Afterburner". The design supports two channels. The first channel is the proportional jet engine glow. The second channel kicks in at the upper 1/3rd of the throttle curve and represents the afterburner. www.rcgroups.com/forum...

Stop-motion build video of my profile RC Micro P-51, Mk-2. Easy and simple to build. Easy and simple to fly. A good way to experience flying a low-wing RC plane. My P-51 Mk-2 has the same specs as my profile micro P-51, Mk-1 except for the battery and flying weight. My Mk-1 has a 1S 200 mAh Lipo while my Mk-2 has a 300 mAh 1S Lipo. I also used magnets to hold the battery in place on the bottom ...

Test Flight of my Scratch-build Profile Micro P-51 under a windy condition.

Test flight video of my scratch-build profile Micro P-51. A "profile plane" is a good testbed for my UMX equipment. Shockflyer as they are sometimes called, is an easy to build and easy to fly kind of RC plane, it doesn't take a lot of time to make and is easy to repair if needed. If this turns out to be a good RC plane, I'll be creating a more refined version of it in the future. Inspired by N...
How I Built from Scratch My Micro RC SG-38, and Made It a Powered Glider
มุมมอง 15K2 ปีที่แล้ว
How I built from scratch my micro RC SG-38 and made it a powered glider. An all-balsa RC plane that is easy to build and fly. A very good RC trainer plane because of its slow-fly characteristics. The real Schneider DFS 108-14 SG-38 Schulgleiter (German for "school glider") is a German high-wing, cable-braced, single-seat glider that was designed by Schneider, Rehberg, and Hofmann at Edmund Schn...

Smooth operator! Nice landing! 😂😅
Awesome build, but where's the red one? 😅 7:42
Awesome build! ❤
Well done that looks awesome and flies pretty good! 😍👍👍👍👍👍
@@SilverSurferFPV Thank you, Ed!
Great job! Meticulous attention to detail. Very fine craftsmanship!
Thank you, Fr. Rey. The layout has had a fun theme since 2020. Irene suggests that I should add a little seriousness to the layout for next year. I completely agree. 🙂
Next December... a little seriousness in the layout.
❤ Nice artwork!
Ang saya! Ang daming bisita haha!!
Love the music. Love the creativity. 💯
Just subbed to your channel. Nice work. This p51 can be at larger wingspan, like 70cm?it will fly ok?
@@Sandokans thank you so much. A 70cm will add weight to everything. But you can always try. 🙂
Great modell and great work.
@@manololligomez6145 Thank you so much.
You mentioned upgrade, will there be a video on this?
@@kbongy yes there will be a video of the upgrade. The needed upgrade parts are still out of stock. Once they are back, I am going to order.
Keep on keeping on! 😃
Satisfying! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The white blurrr made it japan! Very faaaast!
Spreckles Lake?
Yes, sir.
Building one rn but threw out the middle foam part for now because i have no way to get it where i live, so made a fully foamboard one. The whole construction without the electronics is about 120g-130g. Bit tail heavy as a chuck glider tho... Also streamlined the nose a bit and will add a removable wing for easy transport. Good looking craft, nice job dude.
What size paper do I print on to use your plan (linked in desc)?
Hi ccccagley5276, the paper I used is the Legal size paper which is 14" x 8.5"
Nice plane, thanks for sharing. Also watched the P-51 video. I might build that one.
Thank you so much for subscribing, CC Cagley.
The V-tail trainer is an easy build one and easy to fly. 😊
Lindo demais! meus parabéns! Topzeira! 👏👏👏
I love this little guy 😃 I am going to have to build one 😍💯👍👍
Brilliant idea, great video !
Thank you so much.
Perfect!! Thank you for sharing!
Nice. Beginner's need something that flys slow and stable to learn to fly.
I still love planes that fly slow. Relaxes me, and I pretty much enjoy looking at it in the air.
Looks great! 😊
Keep on keeping on.
THEY ARE CALLED ELEVONS STOP MAKING UP WORDS LMFAO HE SAID RUDDEVATOR IM DEAD!!!!!!!
Elevons move the pitch and roll axis on a plane, while ruddervators move the pitch and yaw axis. Therefore since this plane doesn't have a roll axis, ruddervators is the correct terminology.
Nice..bro.yu should upload making video..
I will try to, next time, bro. Thank you for the comment.
That's very cool.
Thank you so much.
Hi , really inspiring... Do you sand the fuselage to adapt the wing or do you just deal with thermo glue ? Interresting way to build the wing and deal with the little piece of balsa ... Would it be interresting to punch holes in internal parts of fuselage to spare grams ? Would you build a F4FU Corsair the same way with its gullwing ??? ( please ;) ) Nice build Have fun !
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I did not do any sanding on the fuselage, not even on the balsa part. The glue I used to laminate the fuselage is a thin layer of UHU Por, expanded polystyrene glue. I got the idea of that under camber style wing from Flitetest. While that little balsa wood at the center is my idea to keep the dihedral on the wing. And yes, lightening holes on the balsa part of the fuselage will save you on weight. (I will try that myself, thank you for that idea.) A F4FU Corsair? That would be a challenge. I will look into it. Again, thank you so much. 😊
❤Nice work like the others planes..
Thank you so much.
Definitely going to build something similar for my son. Just need to make sure we get the motor angle correct.
I built that one for my brother-in-law who wanted to try RC planes. He hadn't flown that thing yet. Weather permits, it would be this weekend.
@@bitesizerc6735 awesome. I think it's a perfect platform to learn to fly. No need for SAFE or any other gyro. It's self stabilizing and no ailerons so much less roll abilities. He should have a blast with it!
@@FlyTimeRC Thank you. 🙂
Awesome video and awesome plane!
Thank you so much, @Kennysaviation / Fly time RC
Love the use of simple materials, a tweak I might throw out is sand, or hot wire , shape a more fluid air foil, it could add to the efficiency of flight. And maybe a stiffer tail boom, add a rolled piece of foam around the bamboo to stiffen for a less delayed control input.
You definitely know your material, sir. Yes you are correct on the tail boom. Even though it is a 1/4" diameter basswood, it is kinda flimsy. It still worked though. For the airfoil, I will try a smoother curves, next time. 😊
Love the design, hope you can make a built video/plans
Thank you. Lines were drawn directly on the foam-board, during build process with just rough sketch I did on paper as a guide. I will do a digital plan so I can share. 😊
@@bitesizerc6735 Congratulations on the project. Very cool. Will you make the plant available?
@@demetriusvasconcelos5866 yes, I will upload the plans for this build. Soon.

Nice
Thank you so much.
very nice build ! I believe the USN uses something similar , love the way you built the safety rails , so characteristic of these boats . Wales UK.
@fredtedstedman, thank you so much. Yes, the USN uses a similar thing. The camera on the roof is not suppose to be there but I need it to capture videos. It is protruding way above and it somehow defeats the rail's purpose. 😅
who would have tought of making a boat out of isolation foam. it sails very well. even the building is easy to do. and yes it wont sink and its well isolated. good job.
thank you so much, remi3741. 😊
Nice boat, pal !
Thank you. 😄
Nice build!

Hermoso trabajo y lo mejor es que compartes los planos de tus aviones. Muchas gracias
Now that's an unsinkable boat.
I have to put in some small bags of pebbles inside the hull just to help it sink a little more. 😅
Hi..Nice plane What size to set for printing?A3??!! I print A4 and came out to small
Hi, When you print through Adobe, you can choose the right scale 100 % and split it into as many A4 sheets necessary. Have fun and tell us about it .
