This sound is comforting because when I was a kid I used to pray for the heater to kick on at night. It drowned out the sound of my dad beating my mom. I would try to go to sleep while it was on.

This is great for drowning out annoying noises from neighbors and outside traffic. Also nice to just break up when things get too quiet.

when i was a kid i used to sleep next to Water heater, under the exact sound of this sound , that sound brought me to that amazing period , it is so relaxing and so nostalgic i appreciate that thank you so much

There has been no better white noise for me than an old rusty vent that blew warm air inside my blanket cocoon during the winter. I miss that old vent and these videos are the closest noise I'll get of it

I don’t really have any generic uplifting platitudes that I rehearsed, I honestly don’t mind some of those comments but much of it seems like just straight up bots. But anyways, I guess people like it, and if you can derive happiness from something you should, probably. I mean, someone else out there is ragging on the all of us for listening to fan noises on TH-cam, so who am I to judge? Us humans are truly quaint creatures. But everyone finds their own happiness, regardless of others’ standards or predispositions, and that in itself seems to be the only truly significant thing in this life. There’s something significant about people from so many walks of life all sharing this mutual understanding of constancy and warmth which emanates from the fan. We can all even smell it as if it’s coming off the phone or laptop it’s playing on. I find that beautiful in a way I can’t quite articulate, but I doubt that’s really necessary. I bet everyone can relate to the random internal yapping on these kinds of nights too, just like what I’m doing right now. Well, I guess it’s time to go to sleep now.
