Alleyway [Gameboy] is unplayable on FunnyPlaying FPGBC

Hey all, this is to document the current state of playing Alleyway on the FunnyPlaying FPGBC. As the video shows, it's literally unplayable. It seems like an unlikely candidate to have rendered unplayable, considering how common it is and (I assume) how simple it is.

Got a lock that we couldn't use at work, so I decided to try picking it. Not good. The bitting on the key looks like it should be harder to rake than this.

I've been practicing with this little Master Lock 140 and accidentally found this bypass. Anyone know what's up?
