this was a very interesting detail for me too, so much so that i googled human psychological traits to try understand it. in the end, the algorithm had to utilize whatever was available. robert is just a dumb plain bully that acts entirely from the position of power and is not opened to any compromise except with those superior to him. camille also a bully herself is on the other hand much more political and manipulative as concluded here. to keep at bay a large group of people like a silo of 10000 souls, you need a snake that will lie, play and stir the populous. robert would easily crumble as bernard did when attempted forceful approach. camille is also more intelligent and will assess options more calmly. she will most likely be presented with an ultimatum to do some really nasty things, like drugging the water supply in order to save the silo. as a mother, she will most likely agree. on the other hand, other players are in more important roles. as soon as julles is pulled out of the airlock, she will instruct on how to prevent safeguard. next logical move is to confront the head silo as they are the mortal threat and the number one priority to deal with. camille will be swallowed into this battle and i do not see how can she side with the head against her own. but we'll leave that for season 3.

This sequel is making a massive plot hole, in the series harry offs himself because he couldn't bear what he had made Dexter into after walking in on one of his kills in which he looks shocked that he has a whole ritual, here he's revealed to already know everything about the plastic sheets and the table and everything??? I guess it doesn't destroy the lore too much but it makes Harry's death look like such a massive over reaction
