SPC provides a big part of the overall process control method strategy. It has been around for many decades but yet its implementation is not always robust. This webinar explores some of the causal factors for poor SPC implementation and ways to overcome those causes.

AESQ Webinar: How to Describe Part Nonconformance
มุมมอง 1512 หลายเดือนก่อน
When a nonconforming product is identified, a concession document is raised for acceptance of minor nonconformance. However, if the information provided is not clear, accurate, or complete, then the acceptance process will be difficult and time consuming. This results in business impacts such as long turnaround time and increase in inventory and scrap. It can also affect activities such as qual...

Useful, But Less Known Control Chart Methods

Not all statistical process control situations fit what is typically documented in the textbooks. There are times when the SPC strategy needs to move beyond what could be considered the more common methods, such as IX-MR Charts and Xbar-R Charts in order to detect smaller shifts in the process, monitor multiple related variables on a single chart, and assess process control for non-normally dis...

Now companies will require a two years college degrees to drive a truck, specially with all the new computers and new system in place. I hope that it will be a good pay job.

The truck nobody wants. Too heavy and too expensive to install the charging infrastructure. ATA even has lobbyists in DC working to defeat the electric truck mandate because they suck so bad

Stick to your peterbuilt, nobody cares. The rest of us want this for short haul trucking and once fast charging is standardized they can do long haul

@@getstuk87 Don't own a Pete and never owned a sleeper cab truck in my 40 some years of being an O/O. Run a Ford LTL9000 daycab and don't even go far enough normally to need to run a log. I'm just not stupid enough to believe that I can make more money with a 27,000 lb daycab that I need to have a megawatt electric service in order to charge

@@joecummings1260 You are very ill-informed for a trucker! The Tesla Semi, in its 500-mile version, weighs <23'000 lb, not 27'000! It weighs <19'800 lb in its 300-mile version! The Semi can recharge on a regular DC fast charger... the exact same than those used by cars... it would be advisable, though, to install at each supercharging sites a few chargers in drive-through configuration for semis. No need for any so-called Megachargers... except at truck depots conducting dual-shift operations!

Thanks for sharing. I too prefer to use real life situations when highlighting human factors. Especially if it's for my errors. I try to use both errors in the work place and even ones at home. The lego box is a great idea. I plan to set up 2 teams to build lego... x1 team has real work instructions with HF considered. X1 team has very misleading instructions. Review the results and discuss the error traps and how we can improve it.
