We had plenty of green wings, with some blue wings still mixed in. There were also plenty of pintails, which I love. I wish we had some cinnamon teal. Hunting slowed big time with the weather warming up. This is my favorite thing in the world to do. I hope the "glitterfy" flake is making awesome baits for ya. @@five.0custombaits Pintails are one of my faves too. I also love when we get a canvasback or 2, but that's also pretty rare out here. My Family on my Dad's side all grew up in Minnesota so I got dragged out every weekend as a kid to watch until I got my 1st 20 gauge at age 8. My 4 uncles were well known in the D.U. community all posing as "Consultants" they were frequently invited to all the gnarliest refuge's, preserves and clubs to hunt for free in exchange for their thoughts on the overall design of the place. They were just drunk con-men with so many years of experience that they actually had relevant suggestions so they never got pinched for it...I'll never forget the time their Father (my Grandpa) purposely shot a trumpeter swan & smuggled it home to eat. With that kind of training, I can see where my Dad learned to be so rebellious.... I come from a long line of Violators who used to put just enough steel in their "hot loads" to get the Wardens magnets to stick...lol. As crazy as I was as a kid, I did some crap; but I never ever felt comfortable poaching. Even though I've watched my old man take geese out a flock that was like 150 yards off the ground with a semi-auto .22, I was never that foolish....I remember karma comin back around when my Dad bought a really expensive AKA Hunting Lab & left him at home while we all went out for dinner or something. When we got home the Dog had literally chewed all the couches up & the house was filled w/poly foam, torn up cushions and a few loafs of dogshit....Appropriately, the Dog's name was Sobby, which was short for "Son of a bitch". All I know is Thank God I had the Holy Spirit in the duck blind with me as an alternative role model....or I'd likely be in prison, lol. @cichlidlover27 They're not good to eat, I don't think. I just release them unless someone wants a few. I'm sure wild ones in them cold rivers are much better.

@cichlidlover27 They are made of some type of high temp resin. I have had the 3 inch Helter Smelter for over a year, and have shot it hundreds of times. If you take care of them, they will last, how long I can't say because I don't know. They're around $50 to $65 depending on the mold and he has crappie molds. You can find them at ngraves.com .
