I read that ethanol will eat the plastic on those bins. They should be stainless steal and or glass?
100 percent correct first thing I noticed that whole batch wouldn't pass to be sold. They they test it For contamination. Never use plastics in the hemp industry especially with pure grain alcohol knuckle heads.
Why are you using ethanol you can extract it from dry weed?

I need your help. I have crude oil. I’m wanting to make a some tinctures, but I have no idea how much I should mix with the MTC oil. Is there a recipe?

Get you oil lab tested for $75 some labs charge less once you receive results you’ll be able to formulate tinctures at any mg you want
the medical market is driving the price of what should be a readily available, easily affordable, plant based substance that would be an effective replacement for petro...and turning it into an expensive commodity no one can afford.

I am in the process of opening a distillery in east Texas and am very interested in growing hemp (using aquaponics. First year only growing about an acre. Do you guys offer a smaller setup? We will also be processing other essential oils. If not, can you recommend another system? I can use my distillation machine (26 gallon and 53 gallon) but wanted to learn about higher quality extractions.

You're solvent will strip the plastic off the inside of that bucket. You are using the wrong buckets
I concur. I re use 5g green food grade buckets for a direct immersion hydro grow but for any pet solvent (alcohol hexane acetone) I'd be using stainless or glass. It pains me to see actual dispensaries using plastic bottles or pouches to retail any bud CBD or THC. I know it's a cost thing. You could rinse the damaged /detached glands out of a small jelly jar not so good from a ziplock.

I was at a customer site in Oregon. They are one of the few left that are still going very strong. currently processing over 15,000 lbs/day. They are surviving. I only know about 18 like them in the U.S.... this is down from the 140 processors I personally knew of in the summer of 2019. and yeah a bunch of people are all doing conversions, it seems. until the FDA approve CBD as a nutritional supplement the CPGs ( Consumer Product Groups ) will NOT come online. When they do.... the dynamic will change
