Here's my take on the Explorer ST Forum and "the straw that broke the camel's back." It was a good run and I sincerely appreciate the remaining members of our admin group! We have all poured our hearts and souls into this platform, the page, and don't deserve to be told that we SHOULD be blindly building a business for someone else, without their involvement. I'm chosing to walk away.

All the things you could have hoped for: the catch can comes off the car, we look at it together, dump it into an empty water bottle, smell it, and wipe the bottom of the can. Then we put it all back together again! Bonus content: Not sure if I'm smarter than the light bar

I couldn't stand that drone when it hangs too long, or it searches. I'd have to find a different setup.
[nods slowly] What now?
I think you need a built block 😉 but for real, RSA will sort it out for you 🖤🧡
Man my 2020 has been at ford since July 30th. Random no start. Lights up like a Christmas tree. No codes. They think it’s the BCM but they won’t replace it cause no codes thrown. Waiting on a ford engineer to look at it but the engineer quit in my area. Good luck with yours.
@@snextime oh boy!! Sounds very familiar. Good luck with it!
Man good luck, that is awful. I'm wondering if it's a possible ground issue.
@@INVERTEDBUKAKI my dealer says faulty BCM. However since no codes are thrown the repair needs to have a ford engineer look at it. The engineer in my area quit so my car is sitting at the dealer since 7/30/24. I’m calling ford HQ Monday. They need to buy it back or fix it.
@@snextime reach out to fordbossman has a ton of older on 2013 to about 21 Ford explorers and f150 and other ford lincoln. He was a big trouble shooter tech. He may be able to help. It's worth a shot. Have they given you a loaner? I'm so sorry you're going through this, I'd be upset too. Call ford Monday and tell them you want it fixed or a alternative by the end of the week. Stand firm!
@@INVERTEDBUKAKI I have a warranty on my vehicle. The engineer has to come from ford in order to approve my repair.
Great video! My 2020 ST had the Thermal 2.5'' exhaust and it was great. We took a few overnight road trips in it and the whole family was able to sleep going anywhere from 60-90MPH. We traded my 2020 and I took my wife's 2022 ST recently and decided to just get a new exhaust instead of swapping it. This time I went with the 3''. I want a bit more volume, so we'll see hopefully I do not regret it lol. Arrives today and gets installed next week!
What lift are you using?
@@PaulPayumo-o1n quickjacks! We have the 7000TI with extension frames
You're doing good things for the community. Awesome idea!
I don't plan major upgrades so I went with the Thermal 2.5 inch with black tips on my ST. all I can say is this car makes me smile every time I start it!
I like it ❤❤
Get This: I just bought a 2022 Ford Explorer ST w/ 29k miles on it for our fleet. I got my wife a 2020 at the beginning of last year and I fell in love with hers. When I went to test drive it, I knew right away that the exhaust wasn't stock at a glance because it was black. I also noticed it was bigger. Turns out the previous owner installed a Borla S-Type AND an aFe Momentum GT on a LEASE that he traded back in. It had just come in, and I signed all the paperwork before they even had it state inspected. By the time they realized what they had, I had already purchased it. I took delivery the next day. I got it for $42k. I'm looking at doing an intercooler and down pipes next before doing the sway bar and suspension mods.
@@RonnieRukusTV that’s a win!!
@@brynnmassie I've got some posts of it on TikTok, but I've done a lot since my initial comment. I did the CVFab intercooler, downpipes, and cold side charge pipe. I did the UPR catch can. I've also added the FenFab aluminum coolant reservoir and ECU cover (both in red). I also got the ZFG 93 DMS tune (I bought it, but haven't done it yet). I'm going to give my wallet a break for a little while, then I'm going to start working on some suspension stuff (lowering springs, sway bars, rear diff brace, etc).
@@RonnieRukusTV that’s awesome!!!
How’s the Thermal setup you run now compared to this Corsa? Honest opinion.. may need a redo of this!
@@LessEcoMoreBoost I think you’re right about the redo! I love the thermal, very different sound than the Corsa honestly. Since running the thermal for a while now, I can say with confidence I’d make the switch again! Gonna have it welded together though
@@LessEcoMoreBoost oh and yes the Corsa had more drone
My 23 ST can do 72 m//h on Hwy too!
Shoutout to Josh Childers for sharing this video! Y’all keep going fast and the truth will always prevail 🤙🏼
I just found your channel surfing for ST related items and was recently watching you, Austin and Tyler. I know it’s older video but have you done similar test with 0-60 times between modes? Where are you in Florida?
@@krishansen4769 I didn’t do 0-60 times but I definitely could do that! Been battling some starter issues which I think are finally resolved 🙌🏼
My new ST rattles, pops and crackles in the interior while driving. Most annoying crap ever.
@@jaybemt that doesn’t sound normal. Is it new new or CPO new?
@@brynnmassie, new. It was at the dealer 120 days after purchase for the noise, but they couldn’t figure it out. Now it’s back at the dealer again cause I can’t take the constant rattle.

Definitely seems like a quiet exhaust in the cabin. I think I hear wind noise more than anything else.
Yeah it's not overwhelming at all. Explorer wind noise is such an issue though tbh

Hearing the turn signal in the video helps a lot, it gives a reference point since it sounds the same in all Explorers.
That’s a really good point and I hadn’t thought of it that way!
This is such a great video. I have been nervous about putting downpipes but consider me influenced!!
Lets go!!
Need a vid on them quickjacks.
Another good idea!
Thoughts on the corsa vs thermal? I just installed the thermal last weekend and am pleased with it. Stock muffler broke at the weld so it was time for the switch.
I LOVE the Thermal, but nothing negative to say about the Corsa. The differences are noticeable. There’s a lot more low rpm rumble and deeper tone with the thermal. The thermal is much less “in your face”
It's got to be nice to have the Quick Jack system.
Game changer for sure
Yessssssssss
Hey brynn, I heard from suncoast your running the stage 3 kit, with gpz clutches from raybestos, what’s your thoughts/reviews on it? Have you had any issues with the clutches?
Oops didn’t mean to ask a question off topic to the video, I thought you were doing something with transmission
@@GODZLLA_ST Haha no worries! It would actually be a good idea for me to do a video on transmission stuff. I'm running the stage 0 kit though. Suuuuper happy with it and have zero complaints. 18 months and 13k miles into it at 640 wheel!

As someone that's been a member since inception and friends behind the scene with Tyler & Brynn, I can corroborate all she says here, to be true. Tyler and Brynn are 2 of the most reasonable and humble people I know personally, beyond the FEST FB Group. My qualifications - I had 1 of the first runs of SPD Downpipes produced in 2020, which ultimately failed *and were immediately replaced and new DP's overnighted by the Owner of SPD, Jacob. He took my call personally, on a Saturday afternoon and would not accept any failure of his parts, because he's a solid business owner. I was #6 in Line to receive the 1st Run of 10 FENFAB Cold Air Intakes, doing the R&D which led to the finished product today - which is where this story all began. (*Important to note there would not be another CAI option that came to the aftermarket for 2 years) That was 5 years ago and Tyler, Brynn, Candace, Theresa and dozen or 2 more, who are all actual OG - ST Owners....that have burned up a lot of their personal money - so that EVERYONE can enjoy modifying these vehicles. (***And this was all done throughout COVID lockdown, when the world shut down) Without their passion, research, failure and pushing limits - there wouldn't be the robust Aftermarket that exists for this platform today. Josh Childers has been a normal Guy - from my vantage point and I'm sad to hear about this Forum taking a nose-dive because someone is protecting a "small business owner", in a feable, childish way. You can still protect small business with honor, dignity, open-mindedness and respect for other people's opinions and processes - Even if you don't agree with them or share them. It's the very essence of a "Forum". Sounds like Josh chose the "Childish" way...and wants to take his ball home with him so everyone else can't play. Just a shame that the last FEST group, that was the most valuable source of information and innovation - appears to no longer subscribe to its founding principles. Also just a bad look to shut the door on the exact people in the trenches then and now... that put your business on the Global Map and MADE THE AFTERMARKET FOR THE ST. If you're interested in the preservation of small business... consistently do the right thing by your customers, employees, advisors and people in general...and your odds of staying in business (or keeping your volume of business) remains in tact. Other prominent figures on our platform and companies like Lethal Performance once told Tyler Clark that he has no value to the ST Platform. Lethal Performance Palm Beach Dyno and several others are now an afterthought and cautionary tale. Believe whomever you like but US that have been around and built this platform....WE REMEMBER. OH Final thought...has Ford Motor Company reached out to ANYONE ELSE that's a member of any Ford Explorer ST Group?? The Answer is NO ☝🏼 Go ahead and keep talking that $hit in his comments section - Tyler gets paid off you, every time you get in your feelings...you fool 😂
He has done some strange things to some members of the group, banning them for getting bad service from Josh, and not getting communication from him. Thank you so much for everything you've done for the group! Your assistance will be remembered and missed.
I never banned anyone...
Always ❤️
Ha.. .The Explorer ST Illuminati is FALLING DOWN.. Tyler Clark and his PUPPETS are being exposed.. Stop trying to turn this on Amsoil. Tyler tricked everyone into thinking that PAGE was HIS and she shit he was doing was TOXIC. He used Women as his puppets on that page to help gain control. You're so fucking blind that you believed it and fed into it. Brynn LOVES to have her hand/feet in everything. It's how you thrive. You live off of it. You're now being stripped of POWER and your only video is to state that you're leaving and try to turn it on every one else? Pathetic. Good Riddance to you and TYLER.. I hope to god y'all both leave the platform. And reality check, for a while, TYLER didn't have an Explorer ST either. Everything you've stated in this video, yourself and Tyler and others directly do it on a daily basis. It's selective and outright disgusting.
The Facebook group's only purpose is to be a list of sales leads for Josh.
Unfortunately accurate now
If there is one thing I know, it's that money and greed can really change a person. It's sad to see you leave but in the same token I totally understand. I would do the same thing if I was in your situation. Thank you for all of your help and everything you do for this platform!
She hasn't done shit for this platform but suck people sideways to get her foot in the door to be a FLY on the wall. She lives for DRAMA. Good Riddance!
🤯 girl. How didn’t I put it together he didn’t have an ExpST? Wow. Wishing all the best. Hoping for a new page with the great community and the real admin team ☺️
That's wild! I only joined the pages in October (when I got my ExST) but even I have noticed a weird vibe, especially on that specific page. Coming from building trucks, I've been in a lot of different pages & never have I seen a page owner/mod hock their own product so hard. I've seen on several occasions where a post will be deleted because he in particular doesn't agree with it because it questions AMS Oil. I've seen people question why things have been deleted & his answer has essentially been "because I didn't like it because it calls me out". I would say choosing to leave is the right idea. I know if I was an admin or w/e & shit like thag was happening, I would also leave.
It's just inappropriate in that context, IMO
