Dohers (Tom) is over in Greece the lucky bugger. Whilst we are here camping in the UK so put the Guinness Nitrosurge device to the test. The result gave us a belting pint!

Just Going For One... In Cork
มุมมอง 9K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
@justgoingforone ... in Cork. Join us on our beer fueled day trip to Cork, Ireland! We're hitting up some of the city's best pubs, starting with Dan Lowry's Tavern and Sin É. Next, we'll head to Ryan Bar and Franciscan Well for a taste of local brews. Keep the beer train going at The Mutton Lane Inn and Oliver Plunkett's Bar then back to Sin É to finish the night. Come along for laughter, good ...

After our recent visit to Cork we were craving a creamy stout, it only made sense to head to the Banshee in Stockport for both a prefect pint of Murphy's and Guinness! #BeerReview #CraftBeer #PubReview #BeerLovers #BreweryTour #BeerTasting #PubCrawl #BeerCulture #BeerOfTheDay #CheersToBeers #BeerLife #PubsAndBrews #BrewReview #HoppyHour #CraftBeerCommunity #Beer #Pubs #Travel #Stockport #Guinne...

Nice to convert another to creamy Beamy and Murphys. Unfortunately Callanan's doesn't open early, you have come back ;)
If you ever come back go to Arthur Mayne's. Best pint of Beamish I've ever had!
The awkward young couple at 6:45 🤣
Haha well spotted mate, looks painful 😂
Do the big house buncrana next
Great place but unbelievably difficult to get around it due to absolutely no road signs anywhere....
Good overview there. Still a fair few spots to do if you come back The Roundy and the Oval are probably my favourite spots.
Cheers, we Oval on the list but ran out of time! Not heard of the roundy hopefully we will be back again.
Also Madri isn’t from Spain. It’s a brand and brewed in London and just marketed as Spanish.
@@IrishCall Yeh it's brewed by Molson Coors who also brew Carling, Rooney says brewed by Carlsberg but then I chip in and say Carling. Rumour has it that when they lowered the ABV of Carling they recycled the old recipe for Madri...
That certainly seems to be the word on the street back home, but it's wide of the mark. It was created at Cerveza LA SAGRA in Toledo just outside Madrid. I can't post the link, but a search on "Cerveza Artesana Castellana La Sagra 2017" shows it in their range in 2017. It's still brewed here, and available in supermarkets, but not well known - almost unknown in Madrid itself, maybe available on tap on the Costas. Of course it's also now brewed by Coors in Tadcaster, England, probably with a tweaked recipe... Most here prefer other beers: Mahou, Estrella Galicia, Alhambra.
@@neilthomas8329 thanks for the info, in my opinion once a lager is brewed in the UK it will never be same as brewed in its original form. The water profile for one is completely different and will have a different taste. One example is San Miguel the Spanish brewed version tastes completely different to the Carlsberg brewed UK version.
Titanic didn’t actually dock in Cobh. It was too big. It anchored in the mouth of the Harbour and had tenders running people back and forth.
@@IrishCall thanks for the comment, there is a titanic museum in Cobh, we didn't go in as didn't have the time but I imagine it's a good place to understand the full history.
@@justgoingforone That museum is a good spot to visit. You get a ticket at the start with a passengers name on it - at the end you discover whether you lived or died !!!
Didnt even split the G 😂
😂 Poor form from Rooney
True British 🔥🔥🔥
Its pronounced cove
We found that out a bit later from a local bar maid which was quite embarrassing 😅
@@justgoingforone 😂😂😂😂
@@justgoingforone americans call it cob h lol
@@darfin4244 My dad was born there and even he calls it Cob H sometimes 😅😅
@@DillonMeredith Ya, some of us will jokingly call it that, but we're just mocking Americans.
Can’t beat a Murphys!
I reckon Murphy’s is the best stout?
Murphy's is really good, both Beamish and Murphy's have more flavour than Guinness in my opinion. I think in Cork you don't even need to go near Guinness with these two brewed locally, it doesn't get much better!
I always liked Beamish best in the past but they moved it from the old brewery getting blander since. Murphy's is probably the tastiest at the moment.
6:33 😂😂😂
Bloody beamish 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
2:33 that guy is hilarious
wow
