@@craft-o-matic399 Windsor newton varnish. And usually a day or 2 depending on size. Larger ones take maybe a week smaller ones few days.

@@craft-o-matic399 yah no problem ideally you want the painting to be dried for a long time maybe a month or 2 before varnishing but if your in a hurry, can do just until the paint is dry to the touch and not sticky or wet.

Your work is very intriguing, mysterious and fascinating. It has a style all it's own. Sometimes I look at one of your paintings and think that something is just a little off, but I think that's what gives it that enigmatic, almost ethereal or surreal quality! Beautiful! Thank you so much! Lisa

Yah instead of trying to paint a photograph pixel by pixel i try and use the impressionistic realism style and be more open and not stuck to a system per say of grids or underdrawings ,underpaintings ect but just going for it and painting what i see in a way.
