Best to wear the whistle around the neck at all times, and know what use it for and how.
Is there more footage, or a longer cut video due in the future?
Big,big thank you to you guys and everything you do ❤️
Thanks Stephen
i really liked watching this video very interesting to see what equipment you have got
Thanks Chris
Lol how do you even get in trouble on uk mountains? They are tiny and 2 minutes from the nearest settlement
You can take your mask off brochowski
Great trailer
They declared that guy dead and a minute later he’s a moanin’.
I find parachute goggles a better alternative to ski goggles. Lighter, less bulky, better all round vision.
Very very useful video thank you. Never actually taken a shelter with me before but that looks pretty packable and light. I may just have to invest in one.
AThat was an amazing trailer ❤
❤

Excellent work. Thanks for being amazing 👏 ❤️

You did not mention avalanche safety gear (beacon, probe, shovel). Was that intentional?
This is what you people train hard for. Thank-you for this so we can watch. I love to see this. Blessings to all from NZ ❤❤
Nice work
I would like to see this stopper know tested against putting the stopper knot on the opposite side. I believe tying the stopper on the other side would be a more secure method. Cheers 🍻
😅
😅
I just want to say that the trick with a pelvic binder "slider" is an absolutely brilliant idea! I have never seen it done anywhere else. Could you record a demo of it in action, please?
Good job guys 👍
Good job good video
❤
Would be interested to know what is in your personal first aid kit. Perhaps another video?
I’d boil to death wearing all that kit. I keep it to 3 layers.
Very good advise thanks for that. N.Z.
These people are BRILLIANT. QUESTION does your places of work pay you especially if you have been called out multiple times in 24hrs. F A VERY INTERESTED PERSON IN N.Z.
N.Z is beautiful. We are made up of volunteers. All members are unpaid and we rely on fundraising and generous donations to pay for the teams expenses.
Thank you rob
Operating with so much gear on must be hard
What are you mountain rescue guys going to use now LANDROVER have stopped making the REAL Defender.
Really awesome advice. Thanks BMR Rescue team for the educational content👍
Wow, such good work that you do here in the Buxton Mountain Rescue team. ⛑
Well done Mountain rescue! I know what its like to be a casualty. I've been in an ambulance more than once. So good to keep conversation light to reassure casualty. Top marks to you guys, so good to know you're there if or when.
Another good video. Couple of points though. I think you're using too many layers, I use just three proper layers, easier to manage. Gaiters are always a must anytime on the mountains! Also why would anyone wear gaiters over waterproof trousers!?! Anyway great as always to watch such videos, it helps a lot.
Thanks for the really clear presentation. I completed my MS a number of years ago, now going for ML. My kit is evolving all the time and videos like this are great help. Great to have mountain rescue there if needed. A fellow mountaineer. :-)
Fantastic organisation.....but what on earth are you going to do now Landrover have stopped making proper Landrovers......cant ever imagine the Mountain Recue in anything other than a Landrover.
which crag was this ?
Great job guys 👍
Thank you for everything you do!
Great stuff. Just what I needed to hear to remind me should I miss anything out for my mounrain hike. Thank you
So very diffent from what we had at RAF Mountain Rescue Service, RAF Harpur Hill when I was there late 1950s into the 60s. All the vehicales we had were just the trucks that were in general service. That was when I was in my late teens, time flys by so very fast, now at 82. But I didn't stay there for very long, perhaps two years, then got posted to RAF Wellsbourne Mountford, 5003 Airfield Constrution for a few years, then to RAF Stafford. All around, many good times to remember. Just got to learn to spell now.
Informative video. Thanks for sharing.
Good advice guys.
I'd add a PLB (Personal Locator Beacon) a small signaling mirror and something to start a fire. An auxillary external battery pack with a USB cable to your cellphone works well and doesn't take up too much space. Last... it's always wise to inform a friend or family member about when you're leaving/returning and the general route that you'll be taking.
Good advice Dieter
It's an amazing invention.
Interesting video
Amazing video. Thank you for showing us how you work and thank you for saving citizens!
Thanks Eni
