The cards are 75x105mm. There are only a few manufacturers of sleeves of this size, including Mayday (model MDG-7151, premium thickness).

I just picked up this game the other day too. My store had a varient that included more family friendly cards. I’ve only played twice, but I think whenever you place a shadow die you have to resolve the text for that line. For example, when placing a yellow you would have to “rotate one exhaust to its shadow face”

All cards can be played in any phase whether revealed or hidden. You just only get their ability if the phase matches their ability.

!Aventuria - just the best game in the world :) Thanks for presenting it! Dials where the beginning, they changed over to cards due to problems in the production of the dials. But maybe the dials come back (and there is also a "Wheel of life" dial box). May the Twelves bless you!

You’ve found my favourite game, Harry! I’ve had it for quite a while, but my unsleeved cards are still in excellent condition. I always play in Totally Insane mode, with the system cards face-down. My strategy is to remove the Glitch cards as quickly as I can, and play the lowest Speed card so I can exhaust the deck before I fall into the black hole. I’ve never managed to repair enough systems for that win condition.

Thanks for the play through Harry. I bought this game a while ago and only managed to play it once as I was learning it in Spanish, so some of the cards were difficult to translate and this slowed the game somewhat. However, decided to give it another go, and also give another go at the translations! I am concerned at the deck building going so slowly and the chances of gaining zeros as you launch seems rather harsh, especially after so much work in getting the cards onto the launch pad but hey. So thanks again, greetings from Gran Canaria, where at the moment the weather is sunny and warm! Cheers Glenn

Thanks so much Harry for the great playthrough! You really looked like you were enjoying it. It is indeed a brain burner! Two things you said during play are things I myself always say when playing: (1) My head is starting to burn and (2) I fundamentally probably shouldn't have done that...😆 No worries on forgetting the Story cards, when playing for the first time it's hard to focus on them on top of learning the game, so it can be a good idea to not use them in the first game until you learn the basics. But they do add some nice thematic flavor, not to mention some interesting surprise mechanical twists that can also add more replayability. I am thrilled that you loved the game! When finished with FoT, I hope you enjoy the other 5 modules in the Fantasy series! (Then the Modern series, then the Sci-Fi series...😅) -John

I like the look of Resist! but it's just not available in the UK. One store has it on pre-order, with no probable date of arrival listed. For some reason, they are making a big thing of their price reduction on the game. From £25 to £24.99....

I really hope the subscription model goes well for them but they will need to do better, I cancelled my Dungeon in a box sub as they sent me the same 3 boxes for 3 months!!! And their customer service mediocre at best!

I have to say that your pre-amble about Harold & William is a bit one-sided, but then history is written by the winner.... Still a great game, though! Also, if the battle is Anglo-Saxons vs. Normans, why is that deck box marked "goblins"? 🤔 BTW, it can't be much of a battle if it's based on wedgie cards.... 🙃

Is the box just an intro to Pokémon TCG? Was an avid collector and player back in the 90s. Got back into it around 2009, where my collection went up to about 2000 cards. Now I just play the online app occasionally. Haha

Thank you for the video. Do you familiar with the platform: "The Game Crafter"? I think you will earn some moments of pure joy while diving in... I will be more specific with my recommendation: Jason Glover games (Tin Helm, Desolate, Gate, Iron Helm, etc...) I wish you will be open-minded about this.. Nevertheless, I don't think you will regret.

I love space games as well, and I had spotted this one, but it slipped past me. So, thanks for the warning - it doesn't look like it's a game I'd want to play a lot, either.

Those acrylics do look good, and I'm sure anyone who's into TTRPGs would very quickly find a use for them. Personally, I can't be bothered with painting minis, and I'm more than happy with just counters, but "normal" standees are fine by me. I actually bought a copy of Quest: a Time of Heroes mainly for the standees and monsters. The standees just happen to fit nicely in those Geek Boxes you suggested all that time ago....

I am sure glad that you did not go the overpowered route of getting one hero equipped with lots of armor of mists so that they can cycle through their entire decks every turn.

I'm against the model, I'm always go with buying second handed games even if it came from ks in the beginning. I won't back any ks in advance, don't belive in this fomo, or exclusivcity and even in pre-order 🤦 I get any game I want but any... Even if it means to go to ebay

Fun video and nice thoughtful answer, but still staying focused. The music, however, was a bit loud for me - making it harder to focus on your words. It sounds like you're saying that conceding is a jerk move? I totally disagree - they are meant to be entertainment and I think that being able to quit (or restart) a game that is going horribly for you is totally OK. I wouldn't want to force someone to keep playing a game they weren't enjoying.

I thought Archers moved away from your group?
