Hot take on Andor, I don't think Andor gets made with Iger era 2, with how much it cost and how Gilroy wrote it. Because Chapek wanted to promote Disney+ and had a directive of make as much content as you can as fast as you can. Without that, I don't Gilroy gets the $345 mil to make season 1. Fun fact: Gilroy was the 3rd or 4th showrunner they brought on for the project. Originally, it was conceived as an Andor and K2SO buddy adventure of the week comedy. (Sound familiar) They came to Gilroy for notes on the script, and he was like this is going to get old by week 3. So he sent in a whole manifesto with his vision of how the show should be, thinking they would never go for it, because it would cost too much f*cking money. About a year later, he heard back from Disney saying they wanted to do his vision.

Well I guess I'm the only one watching. So thank you for putting out an Andor podcast just for me! I have been enjoying your commentary. Andy Serkis has said that in his own head canon he sees Kino as a family man, who was a factory Forman and a union guy. He probably ran afoul the empire because he was into worker's rights. One of the things that this show does well, that people sleep on, is build tension. Looking forward to the final Andor episode. Have you found the you tube video where someone put all the opening themes together?

Contrary to popular opinion, Han did NOT shoot first. If you actually look at the original Star Wars movie released on 5.25.77 Han shot Greedo and that, was it. The mere fact that Greedo did not shoot back, nullifies the entire argument the Han shot first. Han shot Greedo. Period.
