I’m a fire alarm enthusiast who has been uploading fire alarm system test videos since 2020. I could still use some practice at getting more views on my videos, and with everybody’s help, we can make my channel grow.

Unfortunately, this is the final System Test of series 4 due to a hard drive failure on my programming, editing, and uploading pc and I certainly was not expecting this situation to happen at all. I really do apologize for the inconvenience!!! This was uploaded from my Windows 11 backup PC.
Please disregard the text in the video about mentioning a device in the August 2024 Walk Test, because there unfortunately will not be a System Test 17 or 18, and will not be a July, August, or September 2024 Walk Test.

Is this your last system test with your old voice evac amplifier
Yes
I was gonna have System Test 18 as the last test, but my hard drive died and I had to get a new one which resulted on me losing everything on it cause I didn’t back it up before then.
What if you unplugged it while it’s ringing
The alarm would keep sounding, but the system would just be on battery power.
I would do that if it won’t stop
@@retrostudio5600 You just need to press the acknowledge and silence button on the panel or annunciator to turn off the alarms. Unplugging and powering down the entire system when it is in alarm is something that you never do cause it can fry the panel or kill the notification appliance circuits.

@@firesafetylite What I did was run aux power positive to the common of the relay module, and aux power negative to the common on the APA151, then run a connection from Nomally open on the relay module to the Alarm terminal on the APA151, and Normally Closed to the Power terminal on the APA151.

@@firesafetylite Keep in mind if you do it from one of your panel relays, you won’t be able to silence it.
Make it so the Alert Strobe flashes and have a speaker play the Temporal 4 pattern and make it say "carbon monoxide has been detected in this building, please leave the building immediately and await further orders

All of my elementary school years were Edwards EST 892-2B electronic horn strobes until my 6th grade year when they were replaced with the White circular ceiling mount Edwards EST genesis horn strobes set on a temporal code 3 pulsed cycle on the inside and Edwards EST integrities set on a temporal code 3 cycle on the outside. One of the preschools, my middle school, current school has the same fire alarm system. The white circular genesis/ integrity combination is the most common fire alarm system for public schools up here in Fairfax county Virginia.

These systems are a good idea in tornado prone areas and could be combined with NOAA weather radio to trigger the system with the EAS tone.

Nice work and good disclaimers, a bit concerned with the mixing of manufacture, especially on a suppression system. I am surprised it worked and you might want to add about it not being a UL listed configuration, it would be appreciated.
This is a hobby system so it doesnt really make a difference. I know it isn’t ul listed but this is for demo purposes only and it works just fine.
