This is a small section of the german „Autobahn“. It is the 2016 Audi A5 3.0 TDI clean Diesel Cabrio with 580 nm of torque and 245 ps. I hope you enjoy the quick ride!
Is this car stock?
Very disappointing, almost 5000 rot/min in the sixth gear at 160km/h, this results in high engine noise and fuel consumption. This is not a car with a gear made for highway/autoband. I have expected more from a car with 6+1 gears.
My dad has the diesel chiped vesion 5 speed

How did you put the car in sport mode?
I own a similar GTi. It has a mode button on the console floor by the shifter. Just push it once for sport and again for custom mode. I wish I could take my GTI to Montana. It's the only place in the US with an actual autobahn. They don't post numerical limits on the speed signs there. It just says "Be reasonable and prudent."
How are the consumption for 1.6 101 HP ?
really good daily car. but not that great driving on autobahn. iam a bigger guy and driver seat is too small and no tempomat is killing my legs. but i love driving it on regular roads.
Be careful with those incorporations to the track that you make in the video. You endanger other drivers. Seriously. See 2:26 for example. Regarding the car, amazing.
My audi a5 3.0 tdi coupe stock did on autobahn 259kmh , i got it recorded
I did 266km/h and it's really the max

I was driving the same car on a highway just 100 to 110km/h and during about 1 hour long ride, knocking developed in the engine :( very frustrating trip... It sounds like piston to valve slap. Now im tearing the engine apart to find what went wrong. Im looking forward to drive it again, its very good car and such a nice and fun driving experience

I drove 163km/h in a 1994 Suzuki Swift 1.0 that has 145km/h top speed officially, I was at like 5000 rpm lol

Where is the top speed? Did you kick down the pedal? My 240 hp B8 A5 sportback pulls 240 km/h in 6th gear, yours switched to 7th gear after 220 km/h and didn't even reach 230... I never pushed it to its limits tho but I guess it's soft-locked at 250.
I was thinking the same. My 300hp 3.0tdi can do close to 300kmh with 6 gears

@@ahmedhasan4131 ich habe jetzt A5 2012 245ps und bin vor paar Tage 279 gefahren, das Auto ist vor kurze Zeit gekauft und jetzt weiß ich nicht ob es Stage 1 hat oder nicht…
Doch gibt es bestimmt, aber ein Tipp lass einfach original ist besser, werde selten Reparieren.
One has to wonder if its even worth geting 3.0tdi, my A6 C7 Avant with 177bhp gets to 235km/h equaly as fast as this A5 does... is your gearbox worn out? Low on oil?

How does that gearbox feel? Does it shift comfy? Because 0-100 looks far slower than the manual at least I expect it to be comfortable

I have a 2015 euro6 pro cee'd model (coupé) with 6 gears. bought at 118k km, for 5200euros It's a very good car imo on going to work, planning to hike. but if you fill up the rear seat with 3 people with lots of luggage, you gonna have a hard time :D i'm sure my next modell will be 1.6 crdi proceed-its marvelous.

@@antoniodaskalov7288 Aber bis dahin dauert das brutal lange und erst dann komplett offen mein schaut es sind ja bei 280 abgeriegelt oder 290 oder 300 die wandern ohne Probleme bis 320 gehen Serie
250 is the software limited one but it's much quicker than this. Guy must not be kicking down the pedal. My sportback is way quicker and it's stock.

The average consumption is 6.9 liters. In my opinion one of the best engines, runs very smoothly and without any problems (almost 220,000 km) Best regards
the noise abow 70 km/h is too much :D ... I have 1.6 cvvt but the 6th gear is really missing .... high rpm and the nooooooise ... any advice to eliminate ? I know turn the music on :D

My mum has this car but it's a 2013 model with 105hp
So what's the top speed ? 231 ? Not impressive at all. A Bmw with a 3.0 diesel would destroy an Audi with similar spec. And it accelerates slow. Maybe the Audi makes a good 0-100 time but that's it. And it's not that important these days.

1/4mile time for e90 335d is 13,2 and 3.0 v6 tdi a5 is 14,0 so i would say thats pretty damn good from audi when its down on power alot compared to bmw

@@gezimsejdiu3105 In VAG group it is only CR engine with crapy Siemens injectors,and yes vw do it again with siemens,and it have problems with them!Egr valve is really bad on 1.6,it will fallure!Oil pump is driven with ruber belt,there was cases that belt snap and damage timing belt and make fatal damage to the engine!Dpf problems are more comom on 1.6 than 2.0 engine because of that crapy egr valve on 1.6! Do you need more😅🤔

@@marijobosnjak7259 Fahre 1.6 Tdi Golf 6 2010 niemals probleme gehabt warte regelmäßig Service jeder 12.000km ! der motor läuft wie ein uhrwerk und sehr sparsam 1000km mit ein tankfüllung
