My friend, the Yao people also speak the Yao language. They usually communicate with us in Chinese.
Do they even speak Mien? I don't even think our Mien language is being taught.
They really speak Yao language, and different branches have different Yao languages

lakkia people, interestingly they don't speak a mienic language like many other yao peoples. they speak a kra-dai language liked zhuang and thai but of course they're very culturally yao.
Yes, even if they are both from the Yao ethnic group. They still have many branches. The food, customs and language are all different! But they are all Taoist culture!
@@yanluo-jr5hd it's the same in the miao cultures. many branches most don't speak the same language and some aren't even hmongic speakers, there's some that are mienic speakers like the kim mun on hainan and the cao/grass miaos that actually related to the dong/kam-sui

When I visited in October many shops and restaurants in the old city centre (East part) were closed because the old city center will be renewed and renovated. Several shops and restaurants have moved to the new city centre near MeiGui Park which has become a very beautiful area.

Great video, excellent historical background information 👍👍 I always love to eat in one of the Wuzhou soya bean milk shops. There are at least three (or more?) of these shops in Wuzhou. The food is delicious when you eat it fresh. However it is not good to eat every day because of the high sugar content in the soyabean milk and the food. It's more healthy to eat hot pot. I will visit Wuzhou in springfestival again and will eat those delicious snacks again😁😁
Personally, the soy milk in Wuzhou is richer! Do we share the same opinion?
