Fisherman saves HUGE bass

Bass fishing Squaw Creek Reservoir we stumble upon a big 8.3 lb bass that choked about a 1 lb tilapia. We did what we should have and pulled out the tilapia and revived the bass who was having a rough day. 30 minutes after we found her, she was all revived and set to go, the bass was released and swam away. I enjoyed the hunt guys! Just a word of advice… Don’t film your buddy making excuses for the not-so-great first shot. It really takes away from the enjoyment as a viewer.
Don’t take this advice. This is wrong, watching the entire experience is why I love this channel. The bear went down within 5 yards and Neil was beside myself because he knew something could’ve been done better. Things happen in the field, and I know I learned a thing or two watching this hunt. You depicted an honest experience in the field and I commend you and Neil for showing it as it happened. Keep on keeping on boys!
No excuses made here, my windage had gotten knocked and was off by 2 or 3 MOA right and I made the mistake of not checking it before taking the shot, lesson learned. You can see me realize the issue and adjust my windage so that it clicks back to zero in the video. Shoutout to Troy on the spotter for letting me know I was missing far right and I was able to compensate quickly and make a perfect shot through the boiler room and drop the bear. Thanks for watching the video!

Logistics must have been hard to overcome… did you buy fuel cans? What did you do with things you couldn’t fly with after the hunt ?
Logistics aren't too crazy if you plan ahead! most everything came back on the plane with us except fuel cans and hide/horns.

Not quite, i'd assume the regular acorns. It's been the best pond on that property for years though.
if ur bringing a shotgun why would you need a pistol on your side? never in my days have a seen anyone in the timber duck hunting with a sidearm.. is it a cool factor or for trouble? cant wrap my mind around it. wouldnt bring my dog if it whinned all hunt. almost stopped watching cause of it.
Some people just feel naked without their sidearm, we call those people Parry lol.

I know they can go a long way with what appears to be bleed out. The coyotes will run and get them
Bad shot bud, guartering to, if u can't get a good shot on vitals,why shoot. Elk are tough u have to get in that vital V. Elk prob died 5 to 10 miles away. Not first time I've seen a bad judgement shot. Chalk it up n hopefully learn from it, don't shoot unless u have a shot.
